“Do you think you can stop me from pricking you? The guilt of
killing another, or even forcing the, to do what they don’t want
to, can crush a dragon. Especially a dragonet” they smiled, their
teeth shiny scarlet
Firebug snorted. "My dreams are already haunted. You won't make
much of a difference. And," he growled, showing off his claws, "I'm
named Firebug for a reason. You don't want to know how much these
hurt." Then it registered. He whipped his head around to face
Aurora. "A-Animus magic?!"
Nightfall looked bewildered. How and why did this dragonet let
everyone just know that she was an animus?! He kept it secret,
afraid of what would happen if he actually told everyone. He
shuddered a bit, remembering the Darkstalker incident. Too bad he
was related to him, since he was an animus NightWing.
“You don’t know how much” they grinned, before letting their king
wrist stingers out “hurt while killing you” they smiled, slamming
their tail into the ground
Nightfall flinched a lot when the dragon on hit the ground with
their tail. He nervously stuck more of himself out of the cave he
was in. He did and didn’t wanna set his at the same time, now that
he knew an animus was involved.
Firebug snarled and jumped in front of the dragon in hiding. "Leave
him alone. You're clearly outnumbered, and there's an animus right
here. Good luck winning this fight. And we're clearly drawing
attention, so more dragons are probably on their way." He took a
threatening step forward. "I'm not afraid of you."
Nightfall really wanted to cast another spell that would make the
other dragon go away because of an invisible barrier, but also
worried about what would happen to his soul. He was really nervous.
There was blinding from down another hallway. Bigger than a
student. It was Clay. He asked, “What’s going on over here?” then
looked at Emperor. “Emperor, are you freaking out about kids
again?” he asked.
“Possibly” the frowned, sliding their wrist stingers in and coiling
their tail up “but I won’t, because blah blah blah traumatization
is bad blah blah blah”
Firebug sighed, relieved that one of the full-grown dragons was
finally here. Backing down, he still kept his wings spread to
shield the other two dragonets. "Hi Clay. This dragon was
threatening to kill us," he answered dryly, glaring at the horrible
stranger. Firebug was impressed by how massive the Mudwing seemed,
even next to the strange dragon. Clearly, Clay was not to be messed
with, no matter how gentle he was.
“Yes. Now, Tsunami wants to see you.” Clay said. He whispered to
Firebug, “Emperor is always grumpy for some reason.” He looked back
at Emperor and said, “Could you please come over to the
meeting room?” he asked nicely, then walked away. “And no more
terrorizing.” he said.
“Because you know Tsunami and she really wants to have a little
chat with you with everyone else. Clay disappeared into a different
hallway, hopeful that Emperor would come with him.
Nightfall peeked out from under the moss. The spell was gone
because he wanted it to be gone. He only kept his head out, the
rest of his body and wings under the pile of moss.
Clay looked back and said, “You should get back to the dorms
Aurora. We’ll have the first class after this meeting.” He went
into a cave, and waited for Emperor to follow.
