It was at this point they headed home. Everyone needed time to just
relax after the battle and prepare for the drama to come. Winter
and Roran would want to return to Shimo to give Breeze the news,
and the Mew fam and the nurses were still trying to comfort
Typhoon, who was still trying to come to terms with what he had
done.
Inori was doing the same with the other Mews…and once again, she
offered the suggestion of coming to Luminia with her.
“You need a holiday, Sir Typhoon. Some days to relax…it’d be good
for you mind, sir.”
She said most of her advice in a gentle tone, but she mostly let
the others do most of the talking…they were closer to him after
all.
"You want me to visit Luminia again? Perhaps they may be the only
people who aren't scared of me at this point..." His tail flicked
thoughtfully, and his eyes drifted toward his feet, avoiding eye
contact. It would clearly take awhile for him to get over this.
"If you're going to see Emerald, I'm coming too!" Came the decisive
voice of a certain floof fox. He didn't really hang out with
Typhoon as much as he wanted to, and he hadn't been the emotional
support Vulpix in so long. Kiro and Roran could go see Breeze by
themselves. He brushed comfortingly against Typhoon's leg.
“My suggestion is both of you have some individual time with
Emerald.” Inori stated. “It’s not just Emerald who has been worried
after all…there are plenty of others who have been worried about
your well-being as well.” She crossed her arms. “But I’m certain
that Emerald will try and have some individual time with both of
you and then…who knows? I’m certain he would have something
planned”
"Very well then. I'd suppose these guys have had enough of my
whining." Typhoon remarked with a nervous chuckle.
"No way!" Daisy perked up upon realizing what was happening. "Not
even a day after we finally got you back and you're already
waltzing off to who know where?" She came closer. "You need time to
recover!" Upon taking deep breath she added. "But you do need to
stop blaming yourself for what happened. It isn't good for
you."
"Maybe he should go recover with Emerald, then?" Luna reasoned.
"I've heard Luminia is quite nice." She smiled at Winter. "Plus,
he'll have emotional support knight, here."
“Well…a break in Luminia is probably what he needs. I might just
send him along with some tickets to the Resort Island Rioverde as
well.” Inori scratched her head. “It’d be good to clear the mind
and do some activities that would not strain the mental side too
much…and well…” She folded her arms. “…Emerald’s quite good at
finding those activities, I heard.”
"Perhaps I should come as well. I need some time to think about
my..." Luna stopped as she really not everyone had heard of her
vision. "Issues." She finished hurriedly.
"Right then!" Winter proclaimed confidently. "We'll go to Luminia."
He made sure his voice was loud enough for Kiro to hear, though he
doubted his master would stop him. They would be off to Shimo soon.
And would likely be gone by the time they got back.
"Then...I suppose you'll have no use for us here." Daisy observed,
her tail flicking at the other nurses. Minty, riding her as always,
nodded.
"We've done all we can here." With that the nurses started to head
off to their guest rooms to grab their things.
"You're welcome to stay here if you wish!" Luna called after them,
though they didn't seem to pay it any mind. Perhaps they had other
things to attend to. Made sense, considering the recent battle.
“Of course. I’m certain everyone who has met you both will be very
happy to see you again.” Inori stated. “Whenever you’re
ready…please stand close to me. I will get us all to Yume Island
and Luminia…the skies await for those who are willing to chase for
the future.” The last quip was something she picked up from
Luminia; it seems as though it was a very common saying nowadays.
Silently, the three bunched up beside her, though Winter
unsurprisingly cringed at the line. Luna quickly called to
Hurricane and Cyclone not to destroy the house while they were
gone.
Inori closed her eyes and there was a steady glow surrounding them
all, a gentle pink light. It briefly felt as though they had gently
floated off the ground for some seconds before their feet firmly
touched the forest floor, in front of the portal. The portal in the
Forest of Beginnings, the portal to Luminia
Somehow Winter had ended up in Typhoon's arms, startling the
Mewtwo. He almost wanted to set the fox down out of sheer paranoia,
but decided that probably wouldn't help much. "So...we gotta go
through the portal?"
Luminia hadn’t changed much… there were some hints of fighting done
recently shown by some wear and tear but it was all very normal
“Let me take you to Emerald’s abode…and then I have to check up on
my patients at the hospital.” Inori stated as she lead the way
Luna looked a bit sad to see that Inori would be leaving. That
would leave her with just Meka and Winter that could possibly help
her with her problem...assuming Meka was here with them. She
couldn't see her and, unlike Meka, had no capacity to remedy that.
"They'll probably kick me out again...so I'll meet back with you
shortly! I'm still meant to be on my break after all..." Inori
smiled gently as they reached the all-too-familiar house in the
suburbs...one that was large and had a large garden.
Typhoon, holding Winter in one arm, took a deep breath, before
knocking softly on the door with the other. Oddly enough, it was
comforting to have the icy fox there.
Emerald was there to greet them. “Typhoon AND Winter! Luna too!”
Emerald said excitedly with a bright smile on his face. He seemed
relatively fine…there didn’t seem to be any scratches or anything
on him…little traces of injuries too…he seemed to be completely
healed up. And behind him was-
“Aha! You all finally decided to pay us lot a visit huh?” That
energetic voice could only belong to Remus. The dark fox adorned
with purple stars on his fur and rainbow stars as bracelets was
also standing with a cheeky grin on his face. As for Yung…he seemed
to be absent.
"Also Luna." The Mew muttered. "Luna's here too." She glanced at
her son, who thankfully shifted to a face of relief upon seeing
Emerald was fine.
"Of course!" Typhoon replied to Remus and Emerald, forcing
cheerfulness into his voice. "After all the things with that
battle, it felt wrong not to come visit you." He held out Winter.
"I even brought emotional support knight just in case!" He
grinned.
"Hey!" Winter protested, wriggling. "I'm supposed to be your
emotional support knight!"
“I did say your name! I’d always remember everyone from this
clique!” Emerald said happily. “I have so many things I wanna
say…and I want to talk to each of you individually…”
Remus chuckled softly. “He’s been itching to meet all of you
again…”
