Winter happily and eagerly accepted the ticket. "Yo! Sweet!" After
all of his work as a traveling warrior, life on a vacation island
for a while sounded rather nice...as well as the idea of possibly
seeing a battle. There was a certain Keldeo Meka never shut up
about that supposedly competed there, or so he heard. Not that he
particularly wanted Meka to pop up behind him, but battles were
always fun to watch in any case.
"A relaxation trip would be nice." Luna agreed. It would also give
her time to think about her vision, and allow her holes in memory
to pop up again. It seemed her earliest memory even now was waking
up in Pastel Town all those years ago...watching the townsfolk and
eventually taking in the Mewtwo trio. Still nothing of the strange
creature she was supposedly connected to.
Typhoon decided to clear his mind for a second. Maybe he needed
something fluffy to hug right now...and Winter was downstairs, so
he supposed Emerald would do. He pulled the Riolu closer to him,
picked him up, and proceeded to yeet them both into the bubble in a
large leap.
“Rioverde has a large sprawling beach resort, as well as a large
jungle we can go to!” Inori explained. “We can see the some of the
summer olympics too…there’s a battle, involving summer-y weapons
and special moves, there’s like volleyball, surfing, diving and a
swimming marathon around the island! I heard there’s a lot…but I’m
gonna have to drag someone who knows the area with me…Mr. Yung told
me that Azure actually wanted to go…in his words, it’s rare for him
to be willing to go somewhere…”
Emerald’s fur wasn’t as dense as Winter’s. That much could be told
from sight. But it was still very soft and sleek, kind of like
velvet. Emerald laughed out a bit as Typhoon jumped into the
balloon and squished in. Remus’ work definitely showed here.
Extremely comfortable, while showing its durability and maintaining
the rubbery feeling. Emerald nuzzled Typhoon’s cheek a bit
So much Summer coming from the Mew reminded Winter of his sister.
Perhaps he should visit her soonish, it had been a while, and
Winter wondered what crazy experiments she was up to nowadays. As
for Azure...Winter had heard of him, but never actually met the guy
himself. Supposedly he was lazy...? Weird for a legendary, though
recently he was learning most legendary Pokémon just wished to live
as normal civilians...Arceus had even given them a gift to help
with that, recently. Before the war, even
Typhoon just silently cuddled, bouncing on balloon
"Well...we should set out tomorrow for Rioverde tomorrow! The
fight's today, later in the afternoon, what do you think? Do you
guys wanna go?" Inori asked, tilting her head.
Emerald looked up. "...Are you ok sir? Is this ok?" He was hoping
him being more cuddly then usual would have some effect.
"Well, I would hope the answer would be yes, as you went through
the trouble of getting us all these tickets." Luna replied
Winter nodded vigorously.
"...having said that, are we to leave Typhoon and Emerald here? Or
will they be allowed to come as well?" She glanced in the direction
the two had disappeared to, clearly concerned, considering the
mental state he had left with
"Yes, I'm fine." For now... He snuggled him closer. "Thank
you....for being here." He whispered. "I really don't know how to
feel about what happened...and I wouldn't be surprised if some
Pokémon never forgave me. But...I'm glad there are still some
Pokémon who care about me enough to take care of me after this.
Though I hope never to see a human ever again."
"Of course we're not going to leave them! I gotten enough tickets
for everyone!" Inori smiled gently. "I'll just go upstairs and get
them...after this cookie and tea though!" She grinned. "Come on,
there's still a bit left!" To which Dalsin and Astrophel nodded,
indicating to plateful of various different cookies and biscuits.
And a large pot of tea.
Emerald smiled. "I'll always be here...and my family will always
support you to, I hope you know that!"
Winter, American as soccer, took a few cookies for himself, while
Luna helped herself to some tea. They were content to eat a while
until the next thing happened.
Typhoon took this opportunity to noodle. He began jiggling like
noodle. It was almost as if he were using his cat-liquefying powers
to become jiggly
Inori opened the door. She made no comment on the current situation
but smiled. “Sir Typhoon? Emerald? We bought tickets for the next
part of the holiday trip…we’re going to see a part of the Summer
Olympics first at the arena, do you want to come?”
"Ay. That sounds amazing." Admittedly, he probably looked extremely
weird noodling, but he wasn't sure what to do in this situation. It
was nice to get a distraction...then the realization dawned on him.
Was he going to have to be surrounded by other pokemon? So soon
after what had happened? Granted, most Luminians wouldn't know
about his recent predicament, in fact, virtually none of them
would, but it still made him uneasy. He tried not to let this show
through to the mew, though
Inori had taken this into thought. “Our tickets are near the back.
We’ll have a good view from the top.” She said as she stood on the
floor. “Our seats are in a private box like area.” She reassured.
She had noted that Typhoon did have post traumatic stress
symptoms…and had planned accordingly and carefully
