Winter was walking through a mysterious portal, following the
pawsteps of a Zacian before him. Finally, after all the training at
the academy and with his masters, they were taking him to the place
they'd been hinting at for weeks on end!
Meanwhile, a certain shiny Mewtwo was looking down at an old, dusty
map he'd received from a student years ago, figuring it was about
time. He was heading toward a portal he'd been told led to some
kind of sky kingdom.
The path would eventually lead to a dense forest. Not in an
unpleasant sense mind you, light dipped through the canopy at all
areas...there were wild berry trees dotted from here and there and
there was a stream which flowed through the forest, providing a
nice ambiance to the area
Typhoon looked around at the place. It had a calming aesthetic,
maybe he could return later for some meditation, as he'd always
found the sound of flowing water rather calming. He took a second
to admire the place before gluing his oddly colored eyes back to
the paper.
Winter's small band of rescue heroes were soon greeted by a
happy-go-lucky Keldeo, whom Typhoon had dropped off to play at the
esteemed paradise while he went off to visit 'family', as he'd
stated. Winter grinned, it had been a while since he'd seen the
young Pokemon. "Heya Sparky!"
Eventually Typhoon would reach a dead end...a circular area
surrounded by cliffs, this was where the map lead. However there
was no portal in sight...but there was a clue as to something was
indeed there. There was a pattern on the floor towards the centre
of the area, looking oddly out of place...
Typhoon folded the paper, slowly, his expression rather puzzled.
Upon spotting the odd patterning, he slowly ambled toward it,
studying it while slightly fidgeting with the folded map.
Sparky was bouncing around, greeting each of the party members.
Kiro, the Zacian, in a rainbow scarf, Roran, an older Alolan
Ninetales, with a dark blue scarf matching Winter's own, and Meka,
an old resident who was perfectly visible for once.
Once Typhoon stepped at the centre of the pattern, it shined
brightly. What was on the floor were not random markings that were
etched onto the floor, it was a magic circle. Development from the
sky kingdom saw little further use for the device once they managed
to develop this... Typhoon would find himself amidst a city, that
looked like it was popped straight out of a fairytale, medieval
style
"So this is the place." Typhoon muttered in his low, slightly
rumbly voice. He began to make his way along, tucking the map away
into a small pouch he'd tied around his neck.
Much like in a certain school...there was a hint of magic in the
air. It was almost as though this city shouldn’t exist. That it
should stay in a book. Knights in shining armour and flowing capes
were patrolling the streets, keeping an eye out for unrest. Some
pokemon were carrying woven baskets...some filled with flowers,
some filled with just basic goods for their home...
Admidst of it all, a young Riolu could be seen looking a the plaza
fountain. His seafoam green scarf, and a rainbow flower pin on his
left ear gave away to who he was
A smile cracking his face, Typhoon soon approached said Riolu,
admiring the scenery as he went. "Emerald?" He asked as soon as his
reflection appeared in the water.
Emerald jumped. To see Typhoon’s reflection in the water surprised
him so much that he fell into the fountain. When he resurfaced...
“T-Typhoon? Sir?” A smile was slowly spreading across the young
Riolu’s face as he climbed out of the fountain and used a small
blast of aura to dry himself
Typhoon chuckled. "Yes, it's me. I finally decided to dig up that
map you gave all those years ago." He stepped back to give the
Riolu some room. "This place is certainly something, isn't it?" He
admired the scenery once again, still fathoming how he was in a
kingdom of clouds, even after his earlier experiences with a
literal paradise for legendary Pokémon.
“You....actually came to visit!” He exclaimed happily. He was
clearly ecstatic to see him here, if the tail didn’t give it away.
He leaped up to hug him. “I don’t know where to show you first,
this is exciting!”
Typhoon didn't know what to say, he was just happy to have spare
time to spend with Emerald. He'd left the Mews in charge of the
schools for now, apparently it was just his luck that he'd met a
bunch of workaholics, and let all of his other staff take a
vacation as well, which they'd really needed. "Well, you're the
tour guide, I'll follow you! You said you had a lot of cool friends
here, so I'm hoping I can meet them too?"
“Alright!” Emerald said happily. “Well...my dads part of an
unofficial team called Team Stratus...it’s kinda like...a public
vigilante group. Though King Tempest knows about it.” He explained.
“Shall we go see Hiro first?”
"Sure thing! Sounds fun." He readied himself to follow Emerald,
wondering for a moment who King Tempest was. He assumed he was some
kind of monarch, like King Kori of Shimo, but he assumed he'd learn
that later. In the meantime, he'd like to get to know Hiro
more...he remembered the oddly timid Mewtwo, and the strange
kinship he'd felt after seeing another of his kind. The same
kinship that had driven him to escape that lab with his sibling all
those years ago...
Emerald took him to the shop called the ‘Psychic Bubble Emporium’.
“This wasn’t open when Winter visited...” he mused before he looked
up at Typhoon. “Hiro’s idea of bring happiness to the citizens is
opening this shop....well, I say shop. It’s more of a bubble
park...trampoline park.”
"Of course...so this is the place you were telling all the other
students about." He prepared to go inside, expecting to see a world
of bubbles, as was to be expected of someone Emerald consider a
brother. "Hiro's new trampoline park...well, I suppose it's not so
new now."
Typhoon blinked as he took in the area. "I suppose my visit did
come a little late...but Emerald did give me that map all those
years ago, and just now work has finally let up! So, nice to see
you again, Hiro." He explained as he approached the curtains,
wondering what was behind them, or if there was a fee to enter.
