pokemon abilities! if you have a flame body slugma for example, they get your eggs hatched faster if it is in your party! this was not my idea it is ChikoritaMining 's :3 For example (again) say that i have a pokemon with flame body in my party. flame body cuts the amount of steps you need for hatching an egg in half. if you wanted you could do battles too! you could also do hidden abilities if you would like which are VERY rare. they are also random! if the battle example you could have a goldeen with lighting rod (it's HA) and it absorbs lighting attacks!

that would be neat for pokemon with certain abilities to be more wanted for certain tasks
like, pick-up could have the pokemon get an increased chance for picking up items during rumbling for example as well

also @gosth, catlady said this suggestion received mod approval, those examples you gave are from 5 years ago and were strictly about the battle system which isn't really taken seriously whatsoever

So what abilities are we adding here? Just Flame Body? Or will we go further and do Cute Charm, Suction Cups, and Pick Up? How about abilities specific to battle? What about something like Slow Start or Truant, which their only purpose is to hinder you? I mean, if it's approved by the mods, that means they wouldn't see anything (immediately) wrong with adding abilities. This is definitely in the realm of being able to program.

If the programmers are able to add abilities, then yeah it'll be cool. That is, if they won't have to go through each of the thousands of Pokemon currently on the site to give them all abilities, and there won't be a slippery slope of more abilities in demand in the future.
