PMD - Divine Disappearance
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Pokémon RP → PMD - Divine Disappearance........ You'd wake up in a clearing, out in the middle of a forest somewhere, with a clear view of the sky. There are multiple puddles of water in the area that seemed to have come from a storm the night before. You'd see many strange creatures in the area, and you feel...... different, somehow.......

Kotori awoke, after having a strange dream where she was talking to the dragon that was on the box art of one of her old video games, specifically Pokémon Pearl.... She tried to recall its name, but she couldn't really think of its name at the moment. Nevermind that for now, she stood up, immediately noticing that she was now taller than she was before, and she was....... quadrupedal??? Normally, she'd rather stand on two legs, but today, somehow she felt like this was more comfortable, oddly enough.
She had staggered over to the nearest puddle of water, not yet used to walking like this, just to check if anything was wrong with her, and to her surprise, instead of herself, she saw the face of that deer.... thing? from the cover of Pokémon X staring back at her. She sort of remembered what it had looked like, but she didn't know what it was called, because she had not gotten very far in that game, because she had lost interest in it before she had even collected her third gym badge in there, leaving it to collect dust among her vast collection of DS games.
((wHEEZE- That was a long post, but yeah, you hopefully get the idea behind what everyone's doing right now. You don't have to make your posts as long as my starting post))

Until she realized she wasn't in bed anymore.
Huh? Was she still dreaming? No, she was never this aware in her sleep. Her eyes were still closed, but against her back she could feel very real grass squashed against her. Also, her legs and arms seemed to be suspended in her air, and a new appendage seemed to be attached to her buttox. What was this? Her round, wide eyes opened, and she squinted them back to almost closing immediately as the sun flashed in them. Carefully opening them once again, she saw her limbs in front of her, and lay there in shock.
Those. Were. Paws.
Sophie felt her limbs curled strangely under her. If one were to look, she was in a loafing position, her head laying straight on the ground in front of her. She knew something was off right away, as her body felt different, and suddenly she had the urge to jump up and run around or something...
She opened her eyes, a deep blue, and looked at the ground in front of her. Earth and grass...okay, weird. She began to stand up on...four legs. That was weird. She looked down and saw. Hooves! Was she a horse?! She checked herself all over, even seeing her long snout in front of her eyes. She wasn't just any horse, but a Keldeo, the mythical water type sword pokemon!
Sophie smiled, a little smirk. Nothing wrong with that, she could get used to this!
Scurrying over to a small lake, he glanced downwards, only to realize he had become a tiny pebble. His mind was too hazy to remember much, even though he tried a couple times to recall prior events from the previous day.
She attempted to stand up, but somehow, she could not feel her legs, and she felt like had two new appendages attached to her back. Huh. She decided to look at the surface of the water, just to see what even happened to her, and she was now a shiny Latias.
It hit her that she hadn't even thought about her moves yet. She recalled how Keldeo fought, swift streams of water blasting out of its feet as if they were cannons, strong and swift kicks from its leg muscles, not to mention its speed, which allowed for easy evasiveness....Sophie would have to get used to battling, but Keldeo could be really strong, making her a little more excited about this sudden change.
She turned her attention back to the other Pokemon. She wondered...were they in the same situation as her? She caught sight of a few other legendaries. Type: Null, Xerneas, Latias, Genescect... and a few others, Eevee, roggenrolla, and Nickit...She decided to approach them. "Hello?"
Snowflake rolled over onto her...paws...she'd have to get used to that, and looked around. She saw a forest. Leafy greens and the brown of bark, the dappled light of the sun filtering through the thick foliage. She felt scared. She felt so...small. She hadn't been expecting to wake up as some brown animal. She took a look at herself.
In addition to her brown fur, she had a fluffy neck scruff, thicker than the rest of the fur on her body. She had a short, foxlike tail tipped with a cream color, which blended in with the brown in a curvy, almost heartlike way. She was the female gender mutation of Eevee, if she had it right. The female part made sense, of course.
The Eevee looked carefully at her surroundings, nervously. She saw other pokemon. A few were legendary, a few were not. Such as herself. As she looked. Some seemed as confused as she was, and it occurred to her that maybe she wasn't alone in her predicament. A Keldeo was calling to the others, and she cautiously approached on four limbs.
