Question 1:
"S-Shadows?!" The boy seemed to fidget uncomfortably, instinctively shrinking back. "Umm....maybe....one of them"

Question 2:
"Oh! Ummm....well, I'm pretty shy, if you couldn't already tell." he laughed nervously. " I get scared and nervous pretty easily, and I can't stand large groups of people. I like to think I'm pretty friendly (I'm so sorry if I've been mean to anyone reading!) And I love, love to learn! I especially like reading stories!"

A sheepish smile appeared on the boy's face, and his cheeks seemed to become a darker shade of grey. "That's..so kind, thank you. I suppose I technically made it, since I can change my form..." To demonstrate, Merle snapped his fingers. Black feathers swirled around him, obscuring him from view. When they dissapeared, he was wearing a casual grey shirt and jeans. "One of the perks of being a shadow creature, I suppose.."

"They kinda just...appear. I don't know why, or how." As he spoke, a bunch of envelopes appeared out of thin air with a loud "POP". Merle let out a small shriek as he was buried underneath them. " See what I mean?" His muffled voice said.

"I absolutely LOVE animals! Most of them don't immediately run away from me, which is....a huge improvement, to say the least. I especially like birds, my favorite species being ravens!"
