Currently, we need to rely on just random chance to get certain shinies from the Alola and Galar rumble areas. This is quite annoying, because random chance is in no way reliable with getting shinies. Especially since these Pokemon are just regular Pokemon, it doesn't make sense to have their shinies be so rare. These Pokemon are:

- Alolan Marowak
- Alolan Raichu
- Alolan Exeggutor
- Galarian Weezing
- Galarian Mr. Mime (and Mr. Rime)

I'm suggesting to have evolution items (or some sort of evolution method) to evolve Pokemon into their regional evolutions (e.g. evolving an Exeggcute into Alolan Exeggutor). This makes obtaining those shinies just like obtaining the shinies of other regular Pokemon. Perhaps we could have some sort of Alolan stone for the Alolan ones, and Galarian stone for the Galarian ones? Something like that.

Edit: or maybe even just sending them to the Alola/Galar rumble areas will evolve them, like how we evolve Magneton and Nosepass

I think a good method would be combining the two suggestions - having a hold item that means when the Pokemon goes to the Alola/Galar rumble area it evolves.

I remember Greggory_Lee mentioned in the past an item such as "Alolan Lei" which can be found via the Alola rumble area, and when held by a Cubone, Exeggcute, or Pikachu that rumbles in Alola would cause them to evolve into their Alolan version. A Galarian item could be something such as "Galarian Tea" or something similarly british-seeming. Alternatively a single item, perhaps called "Faraway Stone" or something like that, could be used for evolving Pokemon into their Regional evolutions when sent to the appropriate region Rumble Area.

In my opinion this would keep the regional evolutions linked to the Alola and Galar Rumble Areas and still not "easy" to get, but allows them to be readily available as Shiny without relying on full-odds random luck. I would however still be happy with simply an Item or sending to the Rumble Area.

Support! Tbh, this kind of reminds me of POGO, where we have Sinnoh and Unova stones for the new evolutions (I think sinnoh and Unova) and I think this could work similarly to that!

However, the evolution method in the actual games for Exeggutor for example, was to simply evolve in the region, where if you took it to a warp hole, it would evolve into the Kantonian form. Maybe an alternate could be sending it on a rumble to be more similar to the games?

yea, i think it would be best to just send the pokemon to alola/galar region

if the pokemon evolves by level up, then that's all you need to do
by evolution item, have the pokemon hold it before sending them out to either region
