Cadmus grimaced as the attack hit Deino, and he clenched his fists. "Dragon Breath, again." He commanded the pokemon.

As Amelia was moved aside by the Professor, she immediately brushed her shirt off as if the woman had somehow just dirtied it. "The way this place is running? I might be better off taking my chances." With that she remained silent, snickering somewhat as the frustrated Professor worked on her contraption. Seems she got under her skin.

Then she felt the screwdriver hit. That hurt.

Somehow she managed to keep a straight face for now. That had to have been on purpose, she thought, and Amelia refused to show weakness to someone beneath her.

It definitely left a mark though- and now she was eager to get out and check on it.

So rather than utter another insult, she silently stepped on the pad.

"Lets get this over with."

"Oh. Sorry, Minior..." Sydney tells the Minior. She's honestly unsure if she wants to battle it, since Minior can apparently die if they're out of their shells.

Harper - Houndour leaps out of the way just in time, and the Spark hits the ground. It charges towards the Pikachu and uses Crunch, only for the Pikachu to also dodge it. Houndour growls slightly. The Pikachu was fast - and strong, you realise, as it uses Spark again and hits Houndour. It seems to take no notice of the electric bolt, and while Pikachu is still recovering from using it, barges in with another Crunch. It hits, this time, and sends the Pikachu sprawling.
Critical hit! Pikachu has 58% Health left!


Cadmus - Deino nods, then turns the nid into a Dragon Breath. The Masquerain wasn't expecting that. It hits, and somehow sends an electric shock through the Masquerain, causing it to not attack.
Masquerain was fully Paralysed!


Amelia - The Professor nods, rather eagerly. She marches back to her computer, obviously still annoyed about her machine and your insults, and furiously taps at the keyboard. The glow again starts emanating from it, though it flickers a couple of times. It shuts off again - only this time, the Professor is smiling. "This always happens with Psychic types..." she mumbles. The lab's power shuts off, and everything goes dark. You feel a sudden tap on your shoulder, and turn around to see and Espurr floating behind you, looking strained - probably from the use of Psychic energy.

Sydney - The Minor shivers again, before rolling away to find a better sleeping place. It seems there is no limit to the amour of Pokemon here - and the type of Pokemon. Looking around, you can see hundreds of different breeds. As you look around, though, another looks back at you. No, I'm not letting you meet the Dawn Wings Necrozma that was generated. It drifts down to you, and tilts it's head, which is also it's whole body. Foongus stares at it, then crows, 'Foooo!'. It spears mesmerised by the being.
A wild Solosis appeared!

It turns upside-down, as if playing with you.

Cadmus was shocked for a split second, but he decided not to think on what had happened too much. He ordered the Deino to use Tackle on the paralyzed pokemon.

Harper - The Pikachu again dives out of the way, but the Ember still hits it. It grits it's teeth, but stands. It charges towards Houndour, faster than could be dodged. Houndour jumps back, put the Pikachu pursues and hits it. The Pikachu then backs up, and runs through a parting in the grass. It leaves a clear trail, so if you want to, you can follow it.
Pikachu has 12% Health left! Pikachu used Quick Attack! Pikachu ran away...


Cadmus - The Masquerain gets hit by the Tackle, only to hit Deino with more bubbles. It appears that it was waiting for Deino to come close, so it could get a good shot. Electricity still crackles around it, so it must still be Paralysed.
Masquerain has 45% Health left! Masquerain used Bubble!


Sydney - The Solosis turns, and looks behind itself, where a Reuniclus floats next to three Duosions, watching you carefully. Solosis turns back to you, and does a circle around your head, before looking you in the eye. It appears to be considering the option.

All trainers on Route 1.

A light flashes from an unknown source, blinding you and your pokemon momentarily. The light stops, and you all feel a powerful presence nearby. You turn, and so does your pokemon. Floating in the middle of the route, arms bulging, as if to show off, is a Tapu Bulu. It inspects each of you in turn.


All trainers in the Lab.
A flash of light - brighter than you can bear. You close your eyes, before opening them again almost straight after, curious. Standing a few feet away from you is a Zeraora, panting heavily. It eyes you all, as if deciding whether to kill you or gift you.

An irritated sigh could be heard once the power went out.

"Good job, professor."

Though her annoyance didn't last long. Before she could completely process what the woman said, she felt a light 'tap tap' on her shoulder.

Turning around, Amelia could just barely see it through the darkness- a hovering ball of fur with eyes aglow. So this was her starter. "Disgusted at the mess, huh?" She asks the Espurr with a slight chuckle. "Gotta say, you've improved the look of this place." The girl added, holding out her hand for the tired kitten to land on if they so wished.

What? Idiots were one thing- but she liked Pokemon.

Yet before she could say another word, a bright light flashed. She whipped back around- but it was dark again before she could truly see the legend. Only seeing an intimidating figure in the darkness. Not taking her eyes off the figure, she slowly slides her hand into her jacket pocket to try and find her pocket knife.

"Espurr, stay behind me.." She says in a whisper.

Cadmus turned his attention off of the Masquerain, turning to look at the source of the bright light. As he did so, he heard a faint shouting to stay calm. He scowled as he noticed Tapu Bulu. This probably wasn't good. Clenching his fist he glanced back at Deino and Masquerain. His pokemon had seemed to realise his trainer's attention was elsewhere, but it wanted to finish the battle. The pokemon moved to hit it with another Tackle.

Itsuki - Tapu Bulu looks at you, obviously annoyed that you haven't noticed it. It moves on, though, not appearing to want to harm you. The egg shakes a little as you pick it up.

Sydney - Tapu Bulu floats up to you. It stares you in the eye for a good ten seconds, before moving onto your pokemon and repeating the process. Your pokemon are having trouble staying calm - they seem nervous, like they could attack at any second.

Harper - You pokemon are staring at Tapu Bulu, obviously nervous. This is the first time any of them have seen a legendary. Houndour walks to your side, and you can't tell if it's trying to to defend you or hide behind you. Tapu Bulu finishes doing whatever weird thing it was doing with the other trainer, then cones over to you. It glanced at Houndour, then at you. It gives Houndour something - it looks a little like a crystal. It then moves into the other trainers.


Kinaku and Addri - A ZERAORA HAS JUST APPEARED. The Professor seems too busy staring at the Zeraora, as does everyone else

Amelia - Zeraora notices you hand movement, and growls. Electricity prickles around it, as if it is telling you that if you even try to attack it, it will kill you instantly. Not much of a charmer, is it. It walks towards you, slowly, and stand in front of you, arms dangling by it's sides. It looks you in the eye, and does nothing else.

Cadmus - Tapu Bulu watches you fight. It seems almost amused at the fact that you haven't beaten the Masquerain yet - something rather infuriating, seeing as you have just started your journey. The Masquerain was busy watching Tapu Bulu, so doesn't try to dodge - it just gets hit and faints. Tapu Bulu floats up to you and you Deino, watching each of you curiously. It takes a special interest in your Deino, though, as it lies down in front of you. You have no clue what it is doing.
Critical hit! Masquerain Fainted!

As electricity danced around the legend, Amelia froze, the sparks lighting up Zeraora enough for her to see exactly what they were dealing with.

Her hands stilled. Message received.

As it began to approach, she felt her heart go in her throat. Yet she stood stiffly in place, unmoving, staring back at the electrified creature with both fear and defiance in equal measure.

Harper - Houndour barks at you, and wags it's tail slightly, showing you the Houndoomite. It goes back to staring at the Tapu Bulu, it's head tilted slightly. It seems less nervous than it did before.

Sydney - Your pokemon nod, relaxing a little as Tapu Bulu floats away. Gus snuggles into your neck, not looking at the Tapu. It shakes a little - it must be nervous.

Amelia - Espurr lands on your shoulder, also looking the Zeraora in the eye. It continues to stare at you, relaxing a little, knowing that you mean no harm. It growls, before turning, it's tail almost hitting you. It glances over it's shoulder, one last time, as the lights flicker on and off. At some point in the flickering, it disappears. The lights turn on, revealing Professor Palm, staring with an open mouth at the space where Zeraora was.

Ruby - Professor Palm glances at you, still jittery from the Zeraora. "Uh.. Excuse me." She darts into a backroom, closing the door behind her.
