I had bought 500 DP worth of plushies at the beginning but only got the one Mew Plushie :( The DP didn't carry over for the next one. Not sure if there is anything that can be done about it, but I wish I would have known :/

catlady, i think she's saying she doesn't want the counter to reset, only change. like if you're playing a merge game on your phone, most of them have coin-expansions, and once you buy them with your coins, any of your remaining coins stay. Meanwhile let's say i'm playing a game that doesnt exist - pretend it's a roblox game. You do your daily tasks but BAM! the game shuts down for an update that changes everything, meaning you lost your data. None of your - let's call them "Rock bucks" carried over to this "robloxgame.2.0 "

She says she spends 500 DP, which is exactly what the first Mew Plushie costs. If she had spent, let's say, 600 DP before claiming the first plushie, she would've already had 100 DP towards the second plushie.

The DreamPoints for Event Plushies (in this case Mew) doesn't reset, it carries over.

oof i must have worded it bad
"500 DP worth" would likely mean "No more, no less" which would have not carried anything over. It's not like the 500 dp points itself transferred to the new mew, which i think is what the OP is referring to.

If what I think what you're saying, is what you're actually saying [which might not be what SoDaBearJess is saying] then. . . it's common.

Every "spend x DP for Plushie" substracts the original price and only lets you carry over excess. It's like that for every Special Plushie distribution, so there's nothing that can be done about it, as that's simply how these distributions work.

[It also makes sense; you're essentially "saving" for a plushie. if you collected x tokens, it makes sense you won't be able to trade in another plushie with those same tokens]
