So I have a level 86 Flygon with a mega stone. I know pokemon mega evolve at level 50. Why won't my Flygon evolve?

Fly with your wings
If you dont have wings use your levitate ability
If you dont have two of those, fly an airplane or a helicopter
If you can't do that too, sleep

Anyways, I'd like to ask something: if the Pokemon reaches level 50 before receiving a mega stone does that mean it's not able to mega-evolve? : o just to clarify

No, it's like regular evolution in that way, in that any level over 50 will cause them to evolve.

@Crescent3193 I think you checked wrong kind of 'Mega Stone'?
If you have a mega-able Flygon (the one which has the mega icon in their profile), you need to give it

Mega Stone, so it can mega evolve
What you see might be

this? It's the mega bubble in Pokemon's profile, which says that your Pokemon can mega evolve
They're completely different, as a mega-able one can't evolve without that item
So... the conditions are:
1. Have mega bubble in your Flygon's profile
2. Give it a Mega Stone

If you have both condition, raise it to the next level and you'll get Mega Flygon ^^
