Seeing that Jack was begging to lag behind, Ilias rolled his eyes. One would think being a parent and a Mudsdale would at least make it easier for Jack to keep up but the healer couldn't fault the other. He didn't move to help, but slowed his pace so he was still behind Jack.

"I'll take the young ones and go on ahead?" Although it was phrased as a statement, Ilias turned to Maple for confirmation. He didn't want to seem to selfish but he was worried about everyone's safety. If he could save the children, he would even if it meant leaving behind one or two members of his herd. Without young ones, their herd wouldn't have a future.

Lumi was getting irritated by the constant rain stabbing into her flank. Dancing on her hooves, she longed to go on. She glared at Maple, in a 'let us gooo' look. Another blast of lightning flashed overhead, causing her to get spooked again

Bolt jumps up and down once and then goes quickly away, trying not to go too ahead to where he got lost, but far enough ahead to where they could see him clearly and he was moving.

Sighing, Ilias nodded and shot off, hooves flying over the terrain and overtaking Bolt easily. "Don't let anyone fall behind." He muttered to himself twisting around glance at the herd. He was slightly worried about some of them. They didn't have much stamina, especially not Noctis and soon he figured he'd have to be carrying them on his back. Not that he minded

Lumi ran ahead of Bolt as well, not trying to race as she usually would, she was just trying to get out of the way and not loose her herd. She always had more stamina than the other young foals in the herd, and that extra speed that came with her typing. She hoped that would be enough to get safe from the storm, soon.

Bolt, not going as fast as the others, tries going faster, grunting sometimes. He keeps on running, not slowing down yet, but he was getting a little tired, but you could only tell it by a little bit, seeing his determined face to get out of the storm alive.
