On Scald’s body there are many big scratches and lots of bruises, although most of the blood was washed away into the ocean. There is a tiny orange bit on his body though. Hard as rock.

The orange amber on Scald’s green and blue skin shines from the sunlight, getting in Turquoise’s eye, sending a bright light into it.

Summer finally sees it. “I think so. Does that mean... a Death Song?” She winced, hoping it was Gale. Then they wouldn’t need to deal with two Death Songs instead of one.

Scald’s body, which had scratches smaller than a death song scratches, which was gently put in the pit. His soul gets ready to fly up to Valhalla after they put his body on a boat and make it sink with a flaming arrow. If they just set it on fire.

Speedstorm is flying around and sees a Slithersong. It shouldn’t be a big problem. He continues to fly.

Stinger sighs. Back to searching for a glacier. He goes around the island searching.

Pumpkin came out of his hiding place, to see the pit. He'd finally stopped crying, then the waterworks started all over again. "What h...h...happened....?" He stuttered, crying his eyes out. He sat at th edge of the pit as the tears obscured his view.

I'm trying to think of a good signature, so... Use your imagination.
