Aria and Summer had helpfully laid out Rita’s equipment. Rita went to work with scanning, squinting at the crystal, and such. She then began gently prodding it in various places.

The crystal suddenly let out a buzzing noise.

“Take cover!” Aria screeched.

Rita dove away, flingingthe necklace onto the ground, as a small explosion occurred. Nothing was harmed, but it made a loud sound, and Summer ran to soothe the Sentiplants.

“Sorry...” Rita said awkwardly, nudging the necklace back to Turquoise.
