"Wha- I'm still confused...." Pumpkin muttered as he slowly began
pacing after everyone else. He was limping a bit, and his side was
still smoking and covered in blood.

"Uhm...." Pumpkin tried looking at his front talons, trying to
count. "Eleven out of ten?" He mumbled as he looked at his injury
and shrieked again. A lot of the scales on that side of his body
had been tinted red with blood.

Turquoise looked around searching for cobwebs and moss, then slowly
walked and grabbed them "this can hurt" she said and started
removing the blood with moss
Pumpkin roared and reared up on his hind legs in shock as Turquoise
tried getting rid of the blood. "OW. THAT HURT." He shouted,
thinking out loud. He looked back at Turquois and nodded his head
apologetically as he sat back down, letting her continue.

"Not all magic is bad." Summer replied, flying back towards the
Queen's home only to see her flying out.
Aria paused in her steps to wait for Turquoise and Pumpkin.

Pumpkin slowly nodded wincing. The smoke had cleared, and now the
injury could be properly seen. To put it simply, it was a lot worse
than Pumpkin had thought. He loudly shrieked, seeing the injury in
it's full, disgusting glory.

Seeing the injury Turquoise started thinking about using magic, but
soon she understood it could make the wound worse "I could heal
this with magic, but I'm afraid that something could go wrong, or I
would addict myself to magic like Spot did..." she sighed
Pumpkin looked at his side, gulping with fear, that was very much
still bleeding. "Just.... try and do it with magic. I think you can
do it. No; I KNOW you can do it." He boomed, trying to be
supportive.

Pumpkin gulped, and braced himself for pain as his scales started
creeping over the wound. The scales carefully paced back together.
Eventually, all that was left was a small scar without scales
covering it, barely visible in the light.

Pumpkin opened his eyes. He'd closed them tightly out of fear. "Oh.
I kind of thought it'd hurt." He mumbled as he glanced over at the
scar. He sighed with relief, then nodded thankfully to Turquoise.
"Better than before."

Pumpkin looked at the scar again. It was a bit weird, seeing his
skin without the scales covering it. He looked a it for a few more
moments, before looking back at Turquoise and nodding.
