"Oh great." he thinks, seeing that another person has seen him. He uses his powers to go through a wall, which then drains out more energy than normal. He appears on the other side and starts running again.

Viper follows Luke. Her eyes narrow at the sight of his back. The blood. She follows as loosely as she can without him seeing her.

Luke goes back to his apartment, not noticing Viper. He then says to himself, “Stupid tree. Why are people trying to help. I don’t need it, and I don’t need to be technically alive again.” He does t think anyone is nearby. He uses the stairs to get to his room.

Viper follows Luke. She manages to get ahead of him at some point. She finds his apartment and waits for him. She leans on his doorway.

“Not like I don’t already...” he mumbled before watching him walk away. A small grin appeared on his face as he quickly took out the small knives he possessed and threw them at him. He wasn’t surprised when they deflected off an invisible shield.

Kali’s face remained the same, not caring about the humor. She sighed and stood up straight and put her hands in her pockets.

The elevator opens and Luke gets out. He gets to his hallway, not noticing Viper there until it is the last second. He gets right in front of her before he notices and then tries turning around and running.

Zero doesn't say anything now. Instead, she walks over to her broken window. She slightly leans out the window and shuts her eyes, enjoying the cool feeling of the wind hitting her face. She is quiet for awhile. Lost in her own thoughts now. She keeps returning to Darius's statement. We are the same. She shivers. No, she is nothing like them. Miko had waited out the night, and was now feeling hungry again. She wondered if there would be a food truck by the park or something. She was sick of this allyway, and she wanted to get some fresh, not stinky air. Walking casually out of the allyway, as no one would recognize her as a criminal anyway, she began strolling to the park, feeling out of it. Even as a human, she felt like a shadow, allways sneaking around when all she wanted was a life, and this was how she got it.

Luke then says to Tazuli and Viper, “So I should go to the hospital and see what is wrong?” He wants to do the right thing, protect his friends. But to protect them he has to be at full strength to be able to do it.

It won't be boring when Viper comes. Then we get to go to her tree house." Gale said with a yawn. "Whose turn is it to guard?" she asks. "Mine." Hail responds.
