Bri gave Spiri a quick hug. “Thank goodness...we came here to
rescue you guys...” he let go and panted. He was worried and was
trying to figure out where to go from here
"Sorry. i rescued myself first. Do you guys have any idea where
Meka is?" She looked at them hopefully while returning Bri's hug.
She reached for the door as if about to open it, ready to start
looking for the missing prisoner before beating it.
"Maybe she's in the labs then." Spiri's eyes widened in panic,
obviously thinking 'corruption', and turned the knob more, pulling
away from Bri's hug. "We need to move, now if that's the
case."
Spiri could see nowhere to go, spotting Dusk. "Move where?" She
demanded, starting to heat up. "The dungeons don't go anywhere!
this is the only exit." Meka was past him, Flick had almost managed
it, they just had to get past him. She swung the door all the way
open.
Dusk stared at the group “....How unlucky it is for you to
encounter me.” He put just a little distance between him and them,
wisps of dark synergy surrounding his body
"Oh no. A wild edgelord has appeared." Fyssi sighed and slid Farore
off her back and put him behind her. She then stepped in front of
Spiri and Bri. "Dusk, was it? Move out of the way." Her voice was
cold, but she really didn't want to hurt this kid, who as far as
she knew, was younger than her own son. He was trying to
attack them, though, and she needed to get Meka.
“Here goes nothing I guess. No need for theatrics.” Bri simply said
as the water slowly built up around his dagger. He needed to
escape, he wasn’t about to die here like this. He vowed to get out
with everyone
"Traitor?" Her voice was sickeningly sweet. "Why, what ever made
you think I was on your side in the first place?" She could only
hope Dusk wasn't aware of the restraining collar, or else she was
screwed. She charged a hydro pump and fired it at him, feeling
choked by the psychic but pushing through it. "I warned you." she
muttered, actually feeling bad.
Spiri tilted her head. "Traitor?" She built up fire inside her and
wondered the answer to Fyssi's question. She'd known Giovanni had
held her away from the others, but she hadn't known Fyssi had been,
or had pretended to be, one of them.
“.............” He closed his eyes. When he opened them they were a
shining gold. “Worthless.” He deflected the Hydro pump as reality
began crumbling around all of them. “Your nothing but worthless
trash then.”
"You are a very entitled brat." She shook off the psychic and
glared her crimson eyes at Dusk. She hardly noticed the reality
fading until it was too late, and sighed. All this over a single
prisoner escaping? Was Spiri even there long enough for him to
know she was captured? Or was he just looking for a fight?
Farore was cleasrly getting nervous, which might help Fyssi out,
actually.
Spiri sighed. so much for the quick escape, now they had to deal
with this disaster. She'd barely met him, but was already wary of
him, hating him as a worker of Giovanni. This boy was related to
Flick? ...Well, that wasn't unbelievable.
