"He's inside..." Fyssi raced after the baby lugia, reaching the
cave a few moments later, panting slightly. She peered into the
cave, all she could see was darkness inside passed the point the
light touched it. Entered the cave, roaring. "Get your tail back
here you little piece of sh**!" She cursed at the child through her
frustration. "Why is his first instinct always to run off?" She
muttered more quietly to herself.
“Teleportation don’t mean jack if you can pin down his location” In
his eyes, if you don’t know where your teleporting you could end up
if a very bad situation.
The chains didn't budge. Spiri shook her head. "That won't do
squat. One second, okay?" Using the claws on her wings, she began
working the lock. "Anything that's related to any of your attack
energy ain't going to unlock it. Use your claw or a sharp rock."
She felt something moving in the lock as she said this, and moved
her claws more. "Come on..." She muttered to herself.
"Right. I'm going to see if I can track that idiot lugia down. Then
I suppose we're up for a little visit to your dad." Flick said this
and teleported, allowing no further discussion. He was practically
right in front of Farore, and he felt the weight of the child bump
into him. Sniffles could be heard through the cave. The creature
was crying.
Bri kept his pace as he made his way through the tunnel, kicking
the stray Digletts and Dugtrios who were unfortunate enough to try
and attack what they thought was a human and getting blasted with
water. He heard the cries and picked up pace
Fyssi could sense her son's feelings through her telepathic
connection with him. "My gosh, Keldeo. What did you do?" Her
voice was a whisper, and she could feel Flick's presence in the
tunnel as well. She hardly batted an eye at the pokemon in the
cave, as she simply avoided all of their attacks.
Flick wrapped his tail around the child. This kid had wasted enough
of his time! Having stopped it in its tracks, the Mewtwo awaited
the arrival of the pokemon that had followed Farore in the first
place. After his talk with Silver, he was pretty much ready to act
on what he said about killing Giovanni himself.
“I don’t know! I’m guessing he attacked my feet and my reflexes
kicked in!” In truth, he had no idea what he did or any
recollection he did it. He just stated what he did when someone
attacks him while he was aslee
Jack sees Farore in the sky and starts running faster, not giving
into exhaustion. He quickly gets ahead of Farore and starts
climbing a fir tree quickly, hoping to get up before Farore passed
him. Once he makes it up there, he jumps up right in front of
Farore, and says, "See you on the other side." and stays up for
just long enough so that Fyssi could grab him. He goes back down
landing on hi feet with his sword in the ground while him in a
dramatic pose.
Blue continues bouncing the ball. It was annoying to those who were
close by.
Barry gets rid of his mega power and decides to use his meteorite
to try and break free. He sticks the small meteorite into the whole
of the lock and turns it, hoping that it works.
"He's just up ahead. Let's go." She then sped up, they were pretty
close to reaching Farore now. She ended up almost crashing into
Flick before slowing down, halting in her tracks. She had grown
anxious, that stupid thing needed to stop disappearing on her.
Click! Spiri's chain unlocked, freeing her limbs, and
allowing her enough room to get closer to Luke. "Wiggle it around
some more, kay? I'll free this neck chain and I'll try to find a
key." She then ran a claw across the band on her neck, just until
she felt it sink into a keyhole on the back. This might be harder.
Bri, on the other hand wasn't as quick at stopping. He slowed down
quickly but still ended up lightly bumping into Flick, resting his
head on him. He hurriedly stepped back and blushed, and looked down
at the floor in shame
Flick hardly seemed to notice, just grunting at the impact. He
picked up Farore and gave him to Fyssi, then teleported them all
back to Cerulean cave so quick you hardly had time to blink, and
they were surrounded by the sparkling crystals once more. "Right.
Now that that's over, let's talk Rocket."
"Oh my word...I'm so sorry for that Flick... I ran right into your
chest..." He murmured quietly as he then shook his head and got up.
"Right. Team Rocket. How are we gonna go about this? There's a few
missing as well...I think they took prisoners..."
Flick nodded slightly, ignoring the apology, as he really didn't
think it was a big deal. "Two as far as I know. Reshiram and Mew.
Looks like they spent the night there." Flick tapped his foot on
the stone, thinking about what to do...should they focus on the
prisoners, or should they try to seek out Giovanni? He would like
to know what the man was planning, making him want to capture him
and the other legendaries so badly, that way he could send those
plans crashing to the ground, of course.
"Well...why don't you leave the rescue operations to a few of us?
Then the others could go search for Giovanni? That way, we can
arrive as backup and potentially, if needed, turn the tables on the
battle. Who knows what Giovanni has in store for us?" Bri
suggested. He sighed knowing that it wasn't going to be easy. He
had a bone to pick with Zeta but he wanted to rescue the prisoners
first. Meka cheered him up and Spiri comforted him during hard
times, so he owed them much
"I will search for Giovanni." Flick said immediately. He decided
not to destroy the boss just yet. He wanted to find out what he was
planning first, he knew that the corrupteds would likely need to be
dealt with first.
Fyssi didn't let go of Farore, cradling him close her chest. He was
not going to run off again. Of course, her story had been
interrupted by the wild goose chase, but she supposed it wasn't too
important just yet. She wasn't opposed to helping the prisoners, as
that had been what she wanted to do when this whole thing had
started. She wondered how difficult that would be.
Spiri continued to fumble with the keyhole. She felt something
after a few moments of shoving around, and practically shoved her
claw into the hole, causing it to break and the collar to fall off,
but she had torn a claw in the process, and winced.
Luke unlocks his first parts with the asteroid and is working on
the other part just as Spiri finished hers. He saw her wince and
asked, "You ok?"
Jack is in the cave, nodding to what Flick was saying. It would be
good to fins out where Giovanni's base would be. He agrees and then
says, "I'm coming with." He doesn't want Flick to go alone and then
get caught or seriously injured.
“Do we go immediately...? I volunteer to go rescue the prisoners.”
Bri said firmly. He was expecting that answer from Flick, and
well...the others don’t really depend on him to fight. They try to
get him out of the way
"Fine. Bri can rescue the prisoners, me and Jack will spy on
Giovanni." He gave Jack a look. He didn't know how impulsive the
Cobalion was but he wanted to make sure he understood that there
wouldn't be any accidents. "Do not engage unless absolutely
necessary." His tail began to twitch in anticipation, despite his
calm demeanor.
Spiri nodded with a grunt, beginning to help him unlock his chains.
"We get Meka out and then we'll head back to Cerulean Cave.
Hopefully Flick hasn't left yet." As far as she knew, Flick was
alone in Cerulean cave. She had seen Bri but knew he might have
gone back to Gira at this point. She hadn't noticed Flick as a
prisoner, so she hoped that he hadn't been captured as well, as she
didn't want to look for him. She stuck a claw in the hard-to-reach
keyhole on the collar and began working it anxiously.
Fyssi nodded. "I'll help Bri with the prisoners. I say we go
immediately." Fyssi had the advantage of not looking suspicious due
to the fact that she was supposedly still working for Giovanni and
Team Rainbow Rocket. She did wonder if they'd noticed her absence
yet, however.
Flick was clearly agreeing. "I see no reason for delay." With that,
they were all teleported to the Rainbow Rocket Base, just inside
the dungeon. They were still far from Luke and Spiri yet, however.
"Here's where we split up. Find the prisoners and meet us near the
office. We'll try to leave soon after you've rescued them with as
much information as we can gather, got it?" He whispered to the
others, careful to keep his voice extremely low.
Bri dashed off to find the prisoners while keeping a low profile.
He was determined to his friends at any rate and had his lockpick
ready to pick those locks
