Cobalt/Aaron manages to dodge the first few shots due to his small size (theyre both small dragons lol. Speaking of which, how does dragon size work? Onyx is older.... eh dragons are weird), but gets hit by the next few. He instinctively holds up his fireproof wings to protect himself, but still gets seared. Wincing from the pain, he tries to think of another tactic.

After seeing Colbalt wince, Onyx drops back down and quickly approaches him, "Oh stars, are you ok? " Do you need ice?"

"Eh, I'm fine." Cobalt gives her a toothy grin. "But I think lets stop here. You were great though! You managed to throw me off you twice, and those fireballs were almost too much for me to handle."

Cinder flies down, proud of both of the young dragons.

Onyx relaxs " thanks that was my first time fighting , I'm glad your o- " she trails off, as she sees cider. She scans him up and down, memorizing the detail, as she planed on drawing the phonix later. "Oh? Hello" she greets Cinder.

"He's right, you did do great. The fire was impressive." Cinder turned back to Cobalt/Aaron. "Aaron! That was impressive too! The portal trick? That was super creative." He turned back to Onyx. "Oh yeah, Aaron is his human name... code names are hard to get used to."

Aaron looks surprised for a minute, than answers. "Oh, o-okay! I'm not the best at portals... that time there was probably a fluke, but I know how to make them..." Aaron nods. "So first of all, you have to picture the place you want to go, the more specific, the harder it is, but any place can work as long as you know what it looks like. Next you make a fire - that should be easy for you, and a portal should appear. Like-" Aaron makes a portal. "-this. This one's not to any specific place, just somewhere random... which works super well with another strategy I invented... but I digress. You try."

Onyx smirks, and shoots a blast anlittle to the left of them, she then waits, when Colbalt had attacked her, he went threw one side and out the other, she wondered if it would work, for she had he other end right underneath Colbalt, she had been aiming for under Cinder but this would have to do .

Cinder notices the other end of the portal. He doesn't want anything really bad to happen to Aaron, but... this could be pretty funny. And besides, Onyx has managed to do it pretty sucessfuly.

Cobalt winces as he feels the fire hit his chest scales. Cinder chuckles. Aaron/Cobalt quickly relises what had happened, and laughs too. "you learn quickly," He noted. Excited to have made a new friend, and also excited to try, he asked: "Hey, I invented an attack using portals, not just that! Want to learn?" Aaron/Cobalt hadn't taught many times before, and he was still new, but he liked showing others new things, and the satisfaction that cane from watching them suceed.

Aaron nods. "Sounds good." He takes off, not waiting for Onyx; He expects her to follow (she seems fast). The air catches under his wings as he flies through the base, a feeling he craves. Maybe he can practice more portal tricks, or flying tactics in general.

*Avagon goes to hide somewhere to preapre his "costume". He grows some horns in his head, spread some scales and made his eyes more dragon like making them believe that it's a costume that he made very realistic.* This should fool them for a while*
