Icecream padded along the shores of the beach, feeling the sea breeze ruffle his fur and his paws sink into the dry sand a bit. He wasn't too close to the water, and the sun was being gentle this morning. He kept gazing at the water, as he used to as an eevee in the forest, and after he'd evolved into a leafeon. Honestly, all his happy memories of his old home were tainted by the incident. He closed his eyes and shook his head, halting for a second. No, those times were behind him now. Don't look back. He forced a smile and focused intensely on the water.

The water, as usual at a beach, was lapping at the shore, damping the sand closest to the sea. The waters were calm, rocking back and forth in the wind and whispering in that oceany way. He sat down on the sand, staring across the sea at the endless blue abyss. He was in a different place now. He was now not who he was then.

Icecream sat unmoving, meditating with the calm water voices surrounding him. This always helped him forget his old home. It made him forget that absol.... The thoughts left his mind as quickly as they came to him. He sighed softly

Icecream's ear twitched at Kitsune's call. "Oh?" Freaking party?! heck yes! "Coming, Kitsune!" He got up and shook the sand out of his fur, bounding over to the shiny jolteon.

"Hehe. We should have a beach trip sometime." Icecream followed Kitsune to the party in question, feeling ecstatic that he was starting to fit in. He very much liked Kitsune, and his parents were pretty cool. Albeit unusual, but he was the curious type.
