Smiling at a text he just received, Queen wasn't aware of Akio until he bumped into him, startling him so bad that he drooped his phone. When the other started apologizing, he had to shake his head and try and reassure Akio that it wasn't his fault. "I'm so sorry!" Queen apologized in turn, bowing in embarrassment. He really should be looking where hes going. It was his fault for being too engrossed in his phone.

Grégoire followed behind the rest of the class. He absentmindedly played with some of the buckled on his mask, tightening some of them if they seemed too loose for his comfort. He wondered what exactly kind of exercise they would be doing, it could be anything, really. He wasnt really paying attention to the other students.

His eyes snapped open and he looked up at the teacher. His eyes were scared and fearful, and tears gathered in them. He backed away and held his hands in front of his face.

He shakes his head, barely realising what he’s saying. “You’ll hit me, like everyone does- like everyone- like father-“ He sobbed again, hiding from view. It was no doubt now - there wasn’t any coming back from this. His mind was too far gone.

Remus gently grabbed his hands. “Arekkusu, I promise you. I will never lay a hand on you to harm you, because that isn’t what I became a teacher to do. No one has the right to hit kids, and if they think they do I can give them a taste of their own medicine. You are my student, and I swear I won’t let anyone hurt you. Any of you. Mishi noticed what was going on and was thankful that the teacher was there to help him. Maybe he isn’t such a bad teacher after all... She walked closer to Arekkusu, not to close though. She didn’t want to interrupt.

Kal on the other hand was oblivious to all of this. He did some basic stretches, began talking to other kids, and even met the kid that no one seemed to notice. He looked like a familiar pro hero. Same angry look, same hair, even his posture was the same. He waved at the kid, but the kid didn’t react.

Akio bent down and grabbed Queen's phone from the floor then quickly passed it back to him without looking at the screen
"I need to get moving now or I might get called out for being late.."
Akio turned to leave, bowed his head one more time in embarrassment and then broke into a sprint to try to get to the field as quick as he could.

What he didnt notice however, was the the box cutter he had kept in his pocket had fallen to the floor when he'd run into queen.

Queen was at a loss for words as he fumbled to grab his phone from Akio's hands. Staring after the running student, Queen sighed and checked the screen for any cracks. In doing so, he caught a glimpse of the box cutter Akio left behind and knelt down to pick it up. Examining it, Queen looked up to call to the retreating student. However, the general studies student was already far away and his voice wouldn't reach him so he decided to hurry after Akio to give the box cutter back.

Still, Crystal was coughing out more blood, overwhelmed with fear. More and more bad memories of her abusive parents ran in her head. She tried to scream out a teacher's name for help, "M-Mr. Remus..." But she couldn't make it loud enough to be heard.

Remus hugged his student, wanting to help him feel safe.

There was a sudden explosion not far from them, and a loud laugh as a female hero blasted her way into the group. She landed on her feet, dressed in her hero gear, with her black curls wild around her face. Remus turned, surprised, but laughed. “I thought you weren’t coming, Ayukka!” He chided. She simply stuck her tongue out at him, her stubborn nature evident from just seeing her in action.

Kal walked closer to the kid and held his hand out, wanting him to shake it. The kid scoffed and shook his head. “What are you doing here?”

Mishi remembered that the reason she wanted to be excused was because of Crystal. She immediately went to check on Crystal, hopefully she was better now. She ran through the building to get to her side. “A-are you alright?”

Arekkusu had hugged the teacher back the moment he had extended his arms, and stopped as Remus turned. He felt a little better. He’s never been given a proper hug before... He hoped Remus didn’t notice how all his bones poked out, or how his scales were dry and cracked.

"Mr. Remus!" she screamed again, blood leaking from her mouth. It was a little louder, but Crystal didn't know if he could hear her call for help. She was panicking again, more and more memories burning in her head. She started feeling pain that hurt so much, she almost couldn't feel it.

Arekkusu felt cold, and after the affectionate hug he ached for more. The only touch he had ever received was abuse from family and peers, aside from Dabi. He felt his heart turn over, but not the same way it had when he looked at Dabi. This man felt like the closest thing he had to family, and yet he was a stranger.
