It doesn't matter to me that you can't fight. Fight strength isn't the only thing that matters. You're also an incredibly kind and loving friend, you try to help us in any way you can. That's what matters.

A shadowy hand grasped Mirage:

"Since your lost powers have allowed me to return, the least I can do is grant your wish... and KILL YOU."

The Type Y kicked the hand, then punched Mirage;

"You freaking idiot, why did you have to bring HIM back?! Commander Niro is the WORST!"

The Type Fours reminded the Type Y:

"You're not a Type Three anymore, you're Type Y. You outrank Niro! You can order him around now!"

The Type Y thought of the various ways he was going to get revenge on Niro, so he healed Mirage:

"You know what? I take it back, Mirage! You and I, we're gonna collaborate perfectly!"
That's why I said 'Hey, man, nice shot!'

Vestige just sat there, awaiting the fate that they knew would come. They wanted to be free but knew that it probably wouldn't happen.

Relic was also in their Hero of Many Battles form and was sitting next to Vestige, trying to comfort them.

Vestige wondered why they bothered trying to beat Destral. They never made any progress and now they ended up trapped. They closed their eyes and continued to think negatively.

Nell thought about the fact that all she ever wanted was to be a normal Lugia, and now she could very well meet her demise to villains she barely knew... and for what reason? She couldn't figure out what she did wrong.

The squid Shade crawled over to Mirage, trying to shove its face tentacles through his ears, but the Type Y stopped it:

The Shade chose Nell, crawling to her and starting to shove its face tentacles in her ears and whispering:

"I am the piper of Hameln... listen to my song..."

A calming song started playing in Nell's brain, calming her down and opening her mind to "suggestions".
