Why we can't put two pokemon of tge same specie at the wonder trade?
Just got this at SWT, is not the first time it happened to me but is very annoying having to swap one repeated shinyfor a different one (now imagine 2 of them) and I don't really understand why we can not put 2 of the same Pokemon at wonder trade


by the way, one of the gyarados was a magikarp before the trade

I imagine that's to prevent spam of the same pokemon (magikarp for example). The WT and SWT already suffer from this high concentration of low rarity pokemon being tossed around repeatedly as seen in your example as well. Allowing users to toss in just an army of gyarados or some other low rarity pokemon would make this more widespread and make it happen way more often, I'd wager.

If we wouldn't be able to get the same pokémon back in a SWT, I personally wouldn't mind as much.
However, you can get the same pokémon back [even three of them], so I don't think it's very fair we'd have to keep a double, because we can only send one back of them at a time. . .
