Something unexcpected came in your mail. A letter. Two things came from this letter. A Z-Ring, And a letter. The red was simple enough. The champion of Alola was inviting you to partake in a tournament. A way to to test your real power. And like any tournament, the rewards for winning were extreme. The letter ended with a "See you there!" Your just exiting the Airport....

The Champion watched from a rooftop as the planes unloaded. Truthfully, he hadn't been expecting this many people to arrive.

Walking out the airport, Shion yawned streching out plane weary limbs. While grateful for the chance to participate in a tournament, the Sinnoh Elite 4 member wondered if flying was the best method of transportation. Honestly in this day and age, wouldn't someone have invented a better form of transportation? Scooping Mu up, who was interested in the new area, Shion fished out the Z ring included in the letter and looked the item over. "So Mu, what do you think this ring does?" Shion jokingly asked the wiggling Whimsicott while pocketing the ring away.

The Champion watched for awhile. He grew bored. They were lucky though. The convicted the current Aeither President, Gladion, to host this event. If only they knew the full purpose of this tournament. With a flash of pink light, They, and their Gadevoir, disappeared from the rooftop.

People coming in from the Akala airport were slowly being directed towards the Hano Resort.

Hayai was sleeping soundly until Arky popped out his poke ball and carried her out.
"....arky..? We here already?" It took her a few seconds to realise the dark fox had her up in the air.
"..put me down now please. And go back in you will make the others jealous"
Arky snickered, put her down and disappeared

Walking into the resort, Shion didn't seem to really be in awe of the building. Rather, Shion seemed a little on edge by the almost extravagant design. With others also milling about, Shion was a bit lost in the new environment and simply looked for a place to sit and calm jittery nerves

Once everyone gathered at the resort, a blond male with a cloaked figure by his side began speaking "Hello, and thank you all for coming. My name is Gladion. The Aither Foundation and the champion, *He gestured to the hooded figure* Have been working together to make this happen. As soon you get to your room, there will be a card with a number. Every day while this tournament is going on, we will draw 10 numbers. If your number is drawn, a Charizard will be upfront to take you to the Battle Dome. If you have a Pokemon that will fly you there beforehand, please let us know. Any quesions?"

Kahilli just pursed her lips "I really don't know. Would have been nice to know they were going to use my parents resort though."

Well that was nice and short, to the point. Shion personally didn't have any problems with this style of combat and was grateful for an extra form if transportation. Having only electric Pokemon and one grass Pokemon on hand with no real form of transportation other than Dohko, who also hated being rode on, a charzard would be a great help for Shion.
