Let's suppose this would be considered though. How should the x2 day be determined? By reaching a certain number of eggs adopted from daycare (on the whole site), similar to the x2 interaction day? Or in a different way?

What about if you could chose that the x2 affects you? However you wouldn't be able to pick it the day on the x2 itself. So let's say that if you see you've got many eggs the day before the x2 is (considering it was visible like the lovemeter) you could tick a misc. option so it doesn't affect you? Not sure if this could be done xD but it'd help people who need it while it wouldn't harm people who don't need it.

I usually choose to hunt shinies that are low in frequency. And those shinies almost never have eggs in the tall grass of them. That means I rely purely on the daycare, and this would help a lot.

As far as the whole "I've got too many eggs to keep up with already" thing... The excess eggs that you don't pick up would just go to the Tall Grass, anyway, right? And if they go to the Tall Grass it could just be like your putting the excess eggs on hold or something. You can get them later with your egg radar. I never quite understood how having too many eggs in the Daycare could be a bad thing. o.o?
Anywho. Pichu_King, maybe you could also edit the first post saying how the x2 egg day is to be achieved? Like maybe hatching so many eggs, or, like moonrise said, adopting X many eggs from the daycare as a site?

Actually I'm not quite sure either. Guess it's that feeling of missing out, of being unable to use all you could get? Anyone might snatch them from the Tall Grass after all. And you'd first need enough space to hunt the missed ones down. (Getting slightly offtopic, so I'll stop here.)

@moonrise that is why I made this there is not such thing as too many eggs. But if the daycare man lets them go it can be frustraiting. Havering a full party with 6 eggs in the daycare would be a fun hard challenge and it will add a lot to your hunt

I thought you wanted a separate x2 day only for increased Daycare egg production. Like a whole different thing to work for with its' own counter and everything similar to the love meter and celebi thing up in the top right corner.
What you're actually wanting is that every x2 experience day there should also be a x2 Daycare egg production.
Eh. Either way, it should still be earned, in my opinion. If it's not earned, then my apologies but no support.

But I think every time there should be a different challenge like 1 time feed 10 berrys to a some pokemons to get daycare double day
