drake appeared behind albafica
"Hey! Why aren't you going to go the crystal to much of a
chicken?"
He laughed
Poking her
"I know how to help ya!"
He picks her up and drops her right next to the crystal
Screeching, Albafica thrashed around and smacked his tail against
him. "Don't touch me!" He cried, wrenching himself away. Scrambling
into a corner away from everyone else, Albafica watched Drake
cautiously for any sign that his poison may have affected him. If
yet another dragon died because of him, he'd never forgive himself
“HEY! STOP THAT DRAKE!” Suddenly, drake was lifted into the air and
Mai appeared right in front of him with blinding speed. “You ever
dare touch Albafica again and you will be sorry.” Mia
spoke with so much anger, it scared her. Drake dropped to the floor
and Mia dashed to the other side of the room. “I didn’t know I
could do that” Mia thought to herself.
Bracing himself, Albafica hit the base of the crystal and wheezed
pitifully. Cracks ran along the base and the cavern itself shook
ominously dislodging some rocks. Lauriam had to dance out of the
way of some as he watched with a concerned expression. However,
Drake got the desired effect and the marks on Albafica's skin
glowed blue before changing into a sickly yellow colour. He stayed
on the ground, his side smarting from hitting hardened magma and
regarded Mia with a sense of awe. Not many had stood up for him
before even if they didn't know the danger of being around him
Drake got up and growled
"Geez I was only joking beside he isn't dead is he"
Drake flew up right behind mia
He spoke in a dark tone
"And you ever do that again I will make sure you are burned alive
by lava"
He smacked her with his tail then flew back down
“If it was a joke, you wouldn’t have slammed him against the
crystal! If he doesn’t want to, don’t force him!”
Mia barely felt the slap. She was used to pain, she experienced it
her whole life.
“Like I care what you do to me, I can do the same back” she mumbled
under her breath.
The leader looked unimpressed
with the commotion just made. He dipped his head in congrats.
“Thank you all, if we are all done here then the crystal will be
sealed away, anyone who has not gone yet but still needs to must go
now or wait for another year.”
"Oh really? Then let's go missy I'll make you regret the day you
were born!"
He flew up before being thrown down to the ground
"Ha-OW WHO DID THAT"
Lupis appeared right next to him
"You annoying brat! How dare you! You just got your powers and now
your trying to act like this is some sort of game!? No! this is
life so stop acting like your better than everyone else! stop
putting this power to shame! oh also"
Lupis kicked drake in the face
"don't ever do that to another one of our kind again!"
The male glared at the lava Dragon
He walked up to albafica
"Are you ok?"
He asked
"That is no way to treat someone, let alone a lady." Lauriam
scolded lightly coming over to see if Mia was alright. "Are you
alright?" Lauriam asked softly, one of the vines on the dragon's
body rising up to face level before releasing a spore that began to
take away any pain Mia could have felt.
Heaving himself to his unsteady feet, Albafica slunk away and back
to his hiding spot, gently nursing his own bruise. He was more
worried about the crystal and the crack that now ran up the source
of energy. Weren't they supposed to protect energy crystals? Not
fight because of them? Resting his head in the floor, Albafica
couldn't help but feel like he had already failed his first task.
"I'll be fine. You should probably get away from me." He muttered
miserably.
Mia thought to herself, “I already do. I killed my parents,
siblings, and friends. Pain is my only friend now.”
She walked over to Albafica, but saw Lupis there. “Ehh, I talk to
him outside.”
Before she walked away, Lauriam stopped her. “Yeah, I’m fine.” She
lied. Suddenly, her pain was slipping away, leaving her slightly
happy for the first time in your life.
But she already knew what Albafica was capable of. That’s why she
helped him. She knew every though running through his head.
White began to drip from the
crystal, this wasn’t a problem because energy crystals grew in
small bunches all around. Normally, this one almost the size of a
small dragon breaking could mean death. All that eagerly gave them
their power and protection against human attacks. The leader kept
calm. He whispered something into his helpers ear. The helper soon
came back with a chunk of tree root. It was stuffed in the crack to
prevent it from losing power while it healed, hopefully
working.

Illosina looked on edge. She looked at Moon’s Gleam. “Sorry, uh...
gotta go! I think my wings are getting cramped.” She flew off
towards the frying track and Moon’s Gleam reached out. “Hey! Wait
for...” Her friend was already gone. “me...”
"If you ask me, it would be better if he was." Lauriam commented
offhandedly, nodding towards Mia. Walking back to a nice spot where
some flora grew, Lauriam sat down and let time continue on while
the earth dragon reconnected with the world. Usually, Lauriam would
only feel how the earth moved and how she lived but this time
voices accompanied the usual humm of life and Lauriam grew curious.
Was this the power squires from the stone?
Shrinking away from the others, Albafica shook his head and laid
his tail over his eyes. "Please don't bother with me. I'm fine.
Really." Squeezing his eyes shut, Albafica willed the others to
return to whatever ceremony they were doing before.
Lupis glared at drake
Walking back over to albafica
"I am truly sorry I will leave now"
Lupis walked out of the cave
"Drake why do you always have to do this..."
He sighs and flys off
“Yeah... I noticed you can heal and control the earth.” “How did
y-“ “I can read minds apparently.” She decided not to mention
anything about Albafica, since Lauriam might get curious about his
powers. She wouldn’t want to make Albafica mad. She understood what
he felt, scared of his own powers, he was worried would kill
someone. Just like her.
“How about you watch yours” she almost said, but she escalated the
situation too much. She couldn’t let her anger out now, she had to
wait until she got home, or there will be a risk of others finding
out her secret.
