After she was in the pokeball, Tenshi waited to be released.

"...Yeah, I have no idea how to use it." Katu shrugged, after staring blankly at the device for some time. "Any suggestions?"

Halsey released the Absol back in her room, sliding in a fluffy towel for her problem. "Assign a mega-able Gardevoir and trainer to this one. I have a feeling there's something it's hiding." Halsey told the guards, "And a Machamp would be good as well. I think Edward has one."

Justine shifted uneasily. "Edward is in the infirmary, Ma'am. Some Pokemon got to him."

Halsey narrowed her eyes. "I see. Thank you for the information."

Hunter glanced at the device. It was entirely foreign to him. "Buttons...?" He suggested weakly. "Come on, we can figure out how to use a stolen credit card, we can figure out how to use a stolen portal device."

"You're right, I'm sure we can figure something out." Katu said, as she accidentally pushed one of the buttons. She waited for a few moments, frozen in shock. Nothing happened. That was good, she didn't think anyone was ready for another brawl right now.

The bell rang, signalling the beginning of playtime. Justine took the Absol and released her into the greenhouse area.

Wasting no time once again, Tenshi went to find Blaze. If she couldn't find him, she'd do this without him. It wasn't like she was going to escape, but this plan required swiftness and stealth. If she didn't find him, it wasn't like her plan would fall apart, but she knew he would feel left out, and she had dragged him into this, after all.

Blaze saw Tenshi once again wandering around the play area. He guessed that the Absol was probably looking for him, so he ran up to her.

"Absol!" Blazze yelled, running up to the Absol. He waited until the Absol was whispering distance, and leaned in to whisper to Tenshi, "Are we going out today?"

"Not out. But i do have a plan to get the info we need. You up for it? If it's too much you can sit it out." Now that the plan was drawing closer to action, Tenshi had to make sure Blaze wanted to join her. If he didn't, this plan was doomed to fail if she tried to drag him along, knowing how younger pokemon acted.

"Sure!" Blaze agreed, then hesitated. "Well, maybe if you tell me the plan first, please? I don't want to agree to things I don't know." He added, pawing the ground. "Sorry. But End said you might do something rash and I don't want to get too hurt." He still felt sore now and again from his fight, he had always taken his trainer's potions and trips to the nurse for granted.

"You mean you listened to that cotton ball?! We've established that he doesn't know what he's talking about. He doesn't even know me! If you want to be included in this, you need to block out stupid pokemon's opinions and listen to your own head. Otherwise I don't know why I bothered bringing you along." She snapped at him. "Bring that idiot here and he can talk to me himself." She padded away. "Fine, I'll do it alone."

Blaze was surprised by Tenshi's vehemence. Surprised, but... not entirely. He scowled. "This is exactly what I mean! You always snap at me. What, just because you're older I have to listen to whatever you say? Your last plan got me really hurt and you didn't care, at least End helped bandage me up!" Blaze argued. "My head says I shouldn't trust you because you're so mean!"

He huffed, and stomped away. He'd gone along with Tenshi so far because she was a familiar face, and because he felt bad for arguing with her, but with her attitude so far he regretted getting captured alongside her. At least End had let him form his own opinions.

Of all the pokemon Tenshi could have gotten stuck with, why him? She continued walking. If he likes the cotton-brain so much, he can stay here. Tenshi found the plastic rock and dug under it. Now time to wait.

Hunter heaved a sigh of relief when nothing happened. "Yeah, we'll... we'll figure it out." The Lucario nodded eventually. "Though I suppose we'll have to see if the portals open up at preset places or just... wherever." He muttered.

"...Yeah, I feel like the only person who saw what the base was like got captured." Katu muttered, thinking about the stupid Fennekin that had gotten captured. "Seriously. The one time we need him."

Blaze huffed, going back to where End was waiting, near the indoor fountain.

"Kiddo, what happened?" End asked. "Are you breaking out then? Good luck."

"No. I'm not going to listen to the Absol anymore." Blaze shrugged. "I don't even know what she wants to do and she won't tell me."

"Maybe yeh just need to give her time to cool off. Ah don't think she'll get out today at least." End mused.

"Yeah, you're right. I guess."

The bell rang, telling them it was the end of playtime. Trianers began collecting their Pokemon.

Halsey stepped into the greenhouse, surprising many of the guards. "Where's the Absol?" She asked Justine.

"Hiding, I think." Justine answered, even as she recalled her own Pokemon. Dr. Halsey was accompanied with another guard, one with a gardevoir, and a newly patched up Edwards with his Hariyama. "Why?"

"I'm transferring it to a more secure cell. Please find it."

Hunter nodded mutely. He hadn't really thought much about the plight of the two that had been captured. The Absol could probably take care of herself, but he found himself worrying about the Fennekin. The young Pokémon was probably having a hard time of it. "Oh well." He shrugged. "We're one step closer to figuring this thing out. And I suppose we got lucky, getting one of those devices could potentially have taken a very long time."

"Yeah." Katu agreed, not really sure how they would get the device to work. Maybe Aino would be able to use it - between the four of them, Aino was probably the only one who really hung out around humans enough to understand their weird technology. "Though I suppose we'll have to chill out at the beach from now on, I think they might decide to send more trainers after us."

Justine scowled, looking around the area of the greenhouse. "Ma'am, I can't find the Absol."

Halsey raised an eyebrow. "Really? All all the other Pokemon out?"

"Most of them are, yes."

"Well, we'll just wait." Haley answered, taking a seat over a plastic rock and crossing her legs. "Take a seat, Justine."

"Er, yes Ma'am."

"And be quiet."

"Good idea, good idea.' Hunter nodded, unable to hold back a grin. "Chill out at the beach? Sounds far more relaxing than it should, given the circumstances. We'll move our stuff over. And we can take a look at how those trainers we saved are doing." The Lucario said.

Katu shrugged. "I assume that they'll be-"

She paused, realizing that the fog was lifting. It was nearly imperceptible, but if she really squinted she could see further than she had been able to before. "Hey, Hunter, I think that the fog is lifting."

Halsey glanced at her watch. It was precisely 12 local time. The fog should be lifting right about now. To verify, she took out her phone and scrolled through the various security cameras she had so far been able to hack into. The Pokemon were slowly beginning to wake up. She smiled. Time for phase two, after a few days of rest.

Hunter did a full turn. "I think... I think you might be right." He said, surprised. Then he frowned. "That's... good?" He tried out the words. Then he repeated them more surely. "Yeah, that's good. Hopefully people start waking up now. And decide not to try to conclude their shopping." He said, remembering the credit card carefully stashed in the sack next to the berries.

Katu froze. "You know... we should get rid of the evidence, shouldn't we?" She asked tentatively. "You think the security cameras caught us?" She felt stupid just asking that - of course they did. Of course they did. "We are so going to Pokemon Jail."

Technically, Pokemon Jail didn't exist. But she was pretty sure that they should at least throw the credit card away.

"Hey, don't ask me." Hunter said, grinning wolfishly. "I've never been accessory to a crime before. But how about this. I have this tiny, sneaking suspicion, this feeling if you will. Don't ask me where it came from. Could be entirely unfounded. But I think that they might have a tiny bit more to worry about than a... missing... credit card." He said.
