So I have no idea why I have not seen this but I really wish we could delete our forum posts. And our palpad messages.

For Forum only the owner of the thread could delete posts, this way shops could be more organized.
Example: Here is a completed Shop order and the shop owner deletes it cause it is now useless.
I think deleting forum posts would be useful for other stuff too.


PalPad messages: Basically you can click in a small button above the message and there would be something that says “Delete Message” or “Delete Message for Me” you click on it, the message get deleted and replace by something saying “[Message Deleted]”. You can only do this with your own messages and you can do it also to other messages but only delete it for yourself aka hide it.

If you don’t understand what I mean I will be glad to explain anything :D

i think this could be used for bad things. maybe if it included a reason for deletion and someone on the staff team had to approve or something, then yes. otherwise, this could lead to a lot of bad drama.

that wasn’t vague. i said it could cause drama. this has been suggested before, and ever time it’s rejected because people could use it to delete peoples orders and steal their money, or steal art after receiving it, say they never ordered it, etc. which would cause drama. no. support.

How about you can only delete your own messages? If you can do this with your feed, then why not in forum or PP?

No support, as it could be abused to scam others.

If there was an extreme need to delete a forum post, you could ask a mod.

This has already been suggested and rejected before. This is not a feature to avoid abuse.

There's a reason users can't delete their own posts, if you'd like a thread or a post to be deleted, just report it and ask us to do it. It's just another one of our jobs (:
