She quickly looks away, “They would be. But they’d be ours.” She bites her lower lip and slowly shakes her head, “Never mind, just forget I said anything about it. It was a stupid thing to say anyway.”

Laila is laying in her bed staring at the ceiling, “I wish I had Piyo here to talk to. I miss her.” She doesn’t realize that Tencia is in the room watching her. Tencia frowns at the name Piyo but stays quiet in the shadows hoping Laila falls asleep soon.

Laila finally falls asleep still mentally berating herself for developing feelings for Drake. Tencia uses this to escape the room, “Seriously Lai, you need to learn to lock your windows. Now to see if I can find Arya.” She heads down the hallways keeping an eye out for any other Aces or her old friends from when she was a Joker.
