"Thin... I guess?" Cheshire replied with uncertainty. She followed
Sonya as an attempt to make her job easier. "Actually, I'm fine
with the thicker books! I'm pretty lenient about these types of
things."
Camelot walked around the house, It feels too quiet. Is everyone
sleeping? I've been asleep all-day? He rubbed his eyes with the
tip of his fingers. "I'll have to apologize to Cheshire and work a
bit more tomorrow," Camelot mumbled to himself as he headed towards
the dining hall.
”If you haven’t noticed, it’s
raining... come on, you’ll get a cold if you stay out here any
longer.” He took off his jacket and placed it on her head to keep
her dry on the walk back. He wasn’t sure if he could trust her
fully, but concidering she was just a child, she stood no real
threat either. The only threat was their brother and those strange
people.. and maybe even Yoni’s new power. Gritting his teeth
slightly, he tried to forget what he was thinking about.
"Well how about one thick book and one thin book. Although you can
take as many as you can carry." Sonya explained pulling two off the
shelf with a soft hum.
She felt the jacket on her head, she smiled.
"Thank you, brother!"
She sort of felt a bit stupid when she said that....not knowing if
they were related or if he trusted her
Cheshire pulled some books off the shelf and followed Sonya. She
took a few books and started placing them into a small stack,
holding them with both of her hands. The bind of one book would
fall apart slightly with the only support being Cheshire's palm
covering the damage to keep the pages together.
”Oh brother...”Yurei heard a sneer in his mind, and realised it
was Yoni. Fixing Yoni with an embarrassed sharp look, he began to
snicker loudly. He looked down at Liliana and gave her a half
smile.
"Fantasy. Fantasy. Shoot. Where are they...." She muttered looking
around for the section without much luck finding them. She sighed
before noticing an empty shelf.
Cheshire had placed the books down on the floor. She heard Sonya
sighing from nearby, "What happened? Did something break?" She
looked around the same shelf Sonya had her attention directed to.
"Aw~ That's disappointing," Cheshire pouted slightly. Her pout
turned into a cheerful grin, "At least these books are here!" She
held one of the mystery books up, the book's bind was loosening and
Cheshire hadn't noticed.
Hadrian looked to Gaz, “No it’s fine, Besides you must keep that
on. We can’t risk being seen” Hadrian said while looking at the
towns lights going out. He grinned knowing Minerva must’ve cut the
power.
Minerva carefully slinked to the middle of the town in the dark,
She made it close then finally found the crystal. It was being
watched over by many confused guards. She sunk into the ground and
her hand appeared on the pedestal the crystal was sitting on. She
grabbed it and disappeared back into the ground. 15 minutes later
she appeared back on the hill, “Mission complete” she told
Hadrian.
Minutes later, the two arrive at the castle.
"Thank you again for the jacket, here you go."
She hands Yurei back his jacket.
"Imma go back inside, good night!"
She runs to the direction of the castle, looking back at Yurei,
smiling at him and running back.
Camelot walked out of the dining hall after cleaning the room for
awhile. He stepped out, watching Liliana rushing into the castle.
"...Um? Good evening?" He hadn't really seen her around, so he had
yet to hear of there being a new employee.
"Good evening, gotta go! See ya!"
She ran up the stairs and went to her room, changing into her comfy
pajamas
She looked under her bed, to find her favorite book that she
borrowed from the library.
As she was looking at the pictures she was thinking of what she
learned.
Where was her friend and sister when she needed her?
She ran to her desk and wrote what she learned on a piece of paper,
just in case if Marissa would visit.
"Uh...Cheshire, the book....uhm." Sonya explained trying not to
snicker before going straight faced, "Makes you seem very
sophisticated. Why you look like you are on your way to becoming a
genius."
"My lord it doesn't matter what they see if they are freaking out
because of a monster." Gaz explained.
Hadrian nodded, “Never mind that, it’s already over” Hadrian said
while putting his hands together and concentrating. He suddenly
opened his eyes and took his hands apart. A giant beam of light hit
the center of the foreign kingdom. A white light engulfed the town
and a giant boom erupted that could be heard from at least 100
miles away.
Kage awoke from sleeping, he had fallen asleep standing up.
Minerva laughed manically.
Luke awoke to the castle shaking and a loud boom. He covered his
ears.
