(It happened to me in the GBA port of the classic TLOZ. Meanwhile, King Dodongo, the Dodongo that's gonna appear in the RP isn't harmed by bombs, but they make him weak to swords.)

The voice disappeared too. When Skull Kid couldn't be seen anymore, the voice melded with him, making a part of him truly evil.
