Lunara sighed, "Its..sir...I committed treason, lightly and rather than having you find out, I decided to tell you directly. The shadow beam I cast was harmless, so that's why I lost, and I apologized. Punish me as you will. But Skorn...." She turned to the strategist with a harsh growl, "His loyalties are rather...frayed as well. He intends to kill you sir and take your place. Ask Elaci if that's the truth." She turned to her, "Elaci did I lie?"

The plant grew a bit but shrunk a bit as well a moment later while Skorn smiled rubbing Elaci on the head. "Actually sir, I have no intentions of killing you. I joined you because of I was bored and you'll give me money to experiment on stuff. Why if we were in a losing battle, I'd leave you behind."

Elaci grew once again as a red rose formed in her hair. He continued on, "So don't expect me to be loyal, for now I am here for the ride."

Overyas stroked his chin, "Leave me. I need time to think."

Skorn arrived a moment later as well not sure what to say just bowing and waiting. A moment later Overyas spoke "Summon your Ilos."

Skorn nodded doing just that before Overyas began to torture Ilos with a psychic mind grip causing Skorn to gasp and beg for mercy as his demon shrieked in pain. A moment later he stopped, "Behave or I'll torture your pets once again for longer. Now Lunara, your turn."

A chain formed and he hit her twice leaving two gashes across her before he turned as the chain vanished, "Leave me. I can't look at you two for now."

Lunara teleported out without a word to her study, her face expressionless. Why? She had suffered much worse pain.
She remembered how Max, in preparing her for the demands of being general, had exposed her to all types of torture. One time, he had even used electric shocks. Those heart much more than the chains did.


Kelly suddenly clutched her stomach, crying out in pain. Lucifer ran to her, "Are you okay?" her hand moved to reveal really deep gashes, identical to the ones on Lunara's chest

Lunara sighed and went back to her letters. She decided to get Scarlet's out of the way, because it hurt the most.

Dipping her pen in the inkwell, she began.



Lunara was just about finishing up her 12th and final letter. Her back and mind ached like hell.

"Skorn, Lunara, get up here. Now." Came Overyas in a cackling voice. Why Skorn could just imagine Overyas's smile at that exact moment. Twisted, excited, and happy.

Lunara flung her hands, and putting on her usual emotionless mask, a mask of honed cruelty, she teleported to Oyevras's quarters to stand a good distance away from him.

Her back burned from the lashes, but she ignored it.

Overyas smiled as he sat on some luggage as the group of soldiers stopped marching while Skorn was flown over to them by Ilos. Overyas chuckled a bit, "A group is trying to get Maxwell. Kill them. Kill them all."

Lumina temporarily went to her quarters, and tugged on the armor strung up on her dummy. Then she approached the front gates.

She sent out a shadow to scout, and once the location was determined teleported Skorn over with her. They were hidden in the brush, but once Lunara unleashed her monster form, she wouldn't be hidden anymore, "Do you want to do more of the killing physically or shall I? I can leave some of them alive."

"You can do whatever. I have Chimi to fight these guys." Skorn replied smiling as he summoned the beast who let out a roar.

Green smiled at this and let out a soft chuckle, "This is going to be fun, we'll win this fight and leave Overyas missing half of his generals."
