The laser Hits the Portal and with that Valfaris. Valfaris looks annoyed now "you hit me with my magic?" he charges another, stronger one

(By the way valfaris gets healed by his magic.... At least in game it is that way)

(No, Portal Trap works by trapping someone in a set of portals. One portal is on the ground, leading to a portal that is a long way up. This is portal A. The portal in the sky is right above portal A. This is portal B. If you drop something in it, it will fall into portal A, come out of portal B, fall into portal A again, etc, etc.)
