i know that this is too early, but can it be possible to have a button where you can view the code u encode in profile layout before actually save the changes? (similar to when ur making a thread in ur diary)

yep, but there is 2 flaws:
1. first, it is ahassle going from ur profile page to profile layout back and back until u achieve the perfect design.
2. second, once u save a code, the previous code will not be returned unless u copy it before saving.
