Mira grunted and stayed closer to Tiger. "So where's the gym?" She asked, trying to see above the crowds.

Tiger pointed down the main path, "not far, it's next to a flower shop." He said kindly. "The gym itself is on the main pa-" He was cut off as a trainer accidentally bumped into him.

[Should they be separated now?]

Mira looked over and in her moment of distraction, bumped into someone as well and lost her grip on Tiger's hand completely. She grunted.

[also bringing Gold ans Crystal in for a bit since I already had an idea that Gold helps Mira to the gym.]

Tiger blinked and fell to the ground as a few trainers managed to trip him, he looked around wildly and noticed he lost Mira and Cyndaquil. "Crud." He grumbled quietly.

Cyndaquil squeaked in shock and crashed into a Typhlosion that was nearby Mira.

Mira looked around frantically and heard Cyndaquil. She looked towards the source of the sound. "Cyndaquil?" She called.

Cyndaquil squeaked at the Typhlosion and jumped slightly. He went over to Mira quickly. "Are you okay?" A voice said in surprise and offered Mira a hand to help her back up.

Tiger grunted and looked around. "Alright it'll be fi-" he was cut off as an Arcanine ran towarda him. "Is that Char?" He mumbled in confusion before blinking as he heard a familiar voice.

"Archy get back here!" The voice said in shock, and Tiger was knocked over again. The Pokemon barked gleefully and began to attack Tiger with friendly licks.

"Man and here I thought Char was bad!" Tiger grumbled quietly.

[crystal owns an Arcanine with the characteristic of 'likes to run.' all I could think of was
more playful Char]

The trainer nodded and helped Mira up. "Looks like Tiger's Cyndaquil." He said thoughtfully as he took a look at Cyndaquil. "Sorry if Exbo here scared you."

Tiger grunted and pushed the pokemon off him. His trainer recalled him. "Sorry, Archy loves running. Uh. Tiger?" The voice said in shock.

"Hey Crys, how's the dex coming along." Tiger offered in embarrassment and got to his feet, he wiped his face.

"Most trainers in Johto know him, but I had the honor of having him visit me nearly every day before his journey." The trainer said with an amused laugh, Exbo rolled his eyes and shook his head before punching his trainer playfully. "Sorry. Anyway, yeah I know Tiger. He started his journey a few years after Crystal, Silver, and I saved Johto. I'm Gold. Nice to meet you."

"It's going good. Are you okay? You look confused." Crystal said in confusion and looked at Tiger.

"Huh? Yeah fine. Just lost my friend." Tiger mumbled quietly and shook his head.

Gold nodded and crossed his arms. Cyndaquil squeaked and jumped onto Mira's shoulder. "Hm. Maybe he went for the pokemon center or the gym?" He suggested thoughtfully.

"Or he ran considering what happened to him on his journey." Exbo said with a shake of his head.

"Tiger wouldn't abandon me or Mira." Cyndaquil said in Tiger's defense.

"Exbo I'm not sure what you said, but it sounded kind of rude." Gold said with a sigh. "Sorry he's like me, sort of hotheaded at times."

"Okay where did you see them last?" Crystal asked Tiger kindly and grabbed a pokeball from her belt. "Because I'm looking for Gold. He ran off to go play pool at the game corner." She sighed.

Tiger blinked, "I'm not sure where Mira went bu-" He was cut off.

"Mira? Name sounds familiar." Crystal said thoughtfully.

"It's alright. He said that Tiger ran," Mira sighed. "But he didn't. Some trainers just bumped into us and we got separated is all. ...But anyway, we were going to head to the gym. We've been travelling through Johto."

Gold sighed and recalled Exbo. "Maybe Tiger went to the gym." He said kindly. "We could head that way in case."

"She works with Oak." Tiger replied and Crystal nodded. "Anyway, I think I'm going to head to the gym. Maybe Mira went over there." He said quietly.

"I'll go with you." Crystal said with a grin.

"It's fine I know the way." Tiger said quietly.

"Nah I want to make sure you make it. After all, this Mira girl sounds nice." Crystal teased.

"You're worse than Mira." Tiger sighed and shook his head fondly he walked off to the gym.

Gold nodded and went down a side street to avoid a few crowds as he walked towards the gym. "So are you challenging Whitney?" He asked kindly.

"You're making great progress so far." Gold said with a smile. "It took Tiger two weeks to get from Violet to Azalea for some reason, but he ended up catching a Dratini from what he told me. Wonder how that dragon is doing." He said thoughtfully.

"So um. Mira." Crystal said thoughtfully. Tiger glanced at Crystal and sighed as he continued through the city. He looked at some of the shops as he passed by them.
