Hello! I was wondering if breeding on here was like in the games? like i can breed 2 pokemon from the same egg group (for example field) and they produce an offspring? ex female Sandshrew and a male Seel (2 different species and types) but i would get an egg of the sandshrew since shes the female. THANK YOU! (please be nice ive only been on here a week so im still trying to figure some things out)

Only the first egg group listed counts for Pokemon that have two egg groups. (I don't know why but that is how it works here)
In this case, for seel it will only count Water 1 as egg group and it is unable to breed with Sandshrew who is in Field group.

Good thing is to check message below your breeding pair in daycare. If it says "they prefer to play with other Pokemon than with each other", something like that, then they surely won't produce any eggs.

And the other thing you asked, eggs from daycare can be specie of both male and female from the pair with the same chance, it won't be like in core series games with only being specie of the female from the pair.

"They don't seem to like each other" is the lowest possible breeding chance, so you still get eggs with a pair like that.

Only "They seem to prefer playing with other pokémon" means that the Egg Group don't match and that you won't be getting eggs.

"They seem to get along" is slightly better
"They seem to get along very well" is even better
"The two seem to match perfectly" is the best possible outcome.
