Makoto huffed. His mind was swimming- certain things just didn't add up. "No, that's wrong!" He cried out "It couldn't have been a surprise attack! It was a clear fight, a struggle for who lives. Judging by Rory's bruises... And they can't have used strings to choke him out- there'd be clear marks on his neck, not just a bruise."

"Now the question is how he obtained the bruises- a swing to the neck would be too fatal... So how'd he bruise his neck" Makoto turned his head to the other side. "The culprit could be bruised, but I'm pretty sure nobody is willing to show any bruises."

Yumi inhales. "Well, most of my bruises are on my arms, from archery." She rolls up her sleeves. There are many cuts and bruises, all caused from a bow's strings. They're painful, but she refused to buy an arm guard.

((As an actual person who did archery I can confirm it hurts and that arm guards are real things))

Meiji quickly searched her arms and legs for any wounds and ended up only finding a small cut on her finger. However, she didn't say anything about it, since she didn't think it would mean much. She looked over to Nagito in hopes that he could help her think of something to say to contribute to the trial.

(poor meiji gfdhytrggfd both her and i are clueless)

He bit his lip again, drawing blood, but ignored it.
