"We don't know much yet at all. The smaller scratches confuse me the most. There's no way they could've used the claw for it- they're too... small. Not damaging enough." Makoto mumbled with a sigh.
He then took once last look at Rory, before looking to Carlita. He gently picked up the hat, and Carlita glanced to him. Strange, how the bird acted... Makoto gently rested his hand on the bird's back, patting it, trying to get it to calm down completely once again. And Carlita didn't do much, other than turn his head and nudge Makoto's hand.

Makoto was silent as he walked with the others to the trial. The first death... so soon. Had they gone any longer, the secrets would be let out. Who knew what would've happened then... He shot a glance at the others, looking to each one in turn. Beginning to pat Carlita once more, he looked at 'Junko' again, who had been quiet for a while, and wondered how she felt.
