((oof, sorry for being a bit late to the party//)

Rao

Rao entered what was supposed to be her current room with flair- which mostly just entailed her slamming open the door and shouting "Hello, roomie!" loudly enough to wake the dead- let alone any neighbors who might be trying to catch an extra five minute nap before the inevitability that is School. The pale-haired teen blinked at the empty room, the cheesy, saccharine smile she'd plastered on her face falling for a second. What was the point of acting if no one was there to witness it, darn it! Rao allowed herself a small frown before resetting her usual facade up, as she hopped onto the nearest bed, enjoying how obnoxiously the springs sounded under her weight. She figured she'd just wait for her roommate to return- maybe try and do some snooping around in the meantime..


Ryker

With a near animalistic snarl and a nasty glare for anyone who stepped within 5 feet of what he called 'his personal space', it was no wonder that Ryker was the only one sitting in the small corner he'd staked out earlier in the morning. Being naturally an early riser gave the advantage of both not having to deal with whatever person that was arbitrarily assigned to him to be his 'familiar', as well as give him an hour or two to relax in relative silence before the eventual classrooms of people who he'd be forced to be trapped with, hours on end, every day. It wasn't even the first day and Ryker was already contemplating ditching his classes. He glanced about the cafeteria once more, making sure his facial expression shouted 'Don't even think of sitting here.'

Eleanor

Eleanor stumbled out of the bathroom, a hairbrush tangled in her hear. She swore loudly before looking at the girl - presumably her familiar - that had walked in.

"Uh, excuse my language, miss - You're uh, what was your name again? ... Rianna? No, no, there was an O in it somewhere - and it was short-" Ellie rambled awkwardly.

:When Aria reached the cafeteria, she was covered in dirt, leaves, and thorns. She saw Faeryn and walked over to her: "Good morning!" :Aria said to her, a smile on her face as she sat down next to her:

Jason's face bore an expression of complete and utter shock, in fact he stood frozen there for a moment, unable to quite process what just happened. Quickly he realized what had just happened when he felt the coffee on his own shirt sink in fully, burning his skin a little. "Sorry..." he muttered to Zion under his breath as he pushed his way outside, a mixture of embarrassment and shock filling his thoughts.

When the boy made his way out the doors, he changed form again. Sighing as a hyena was quite an experience, though it happened often enough that it didn't bother him at the awkwardness of it. 'Wow. Today's going to be great!' he thought with sarcastic enthusiasm, plonking himself down on a patch of grass in the shade of an oak tree. His ears twitched as he lay there, clearly unhappy about what just happened, thoughts plaguing him about how he should've been paying attention and what he was going to do without his morning coffee.

~ Faeryn ~ Female ~ 18 ~ Aero ~ Senior ~ Aria, Zion, Lynx

"Oh... Well... That's unfortunate." Faeryn mumbled slightly, feeling very sorry for the familiar, glancing up to face him. Fae heard Aria's voice and turned "OH! Hi, Aria! There's been a little... accident. How are you, anywho?" she asked her familiar, a friendly smile on her face, waiting for her answer before she turned back to Zion.

"Pass your hoodie here, I can dry it with my magic." she happily offered, a sorry look on her face as she spoke to Zion "Not sure what to do about the stain though..." she muttered under her breath, a hand going to her chin as she tried to remember what it was her father had told her was useful for stains.

The dark haired girl's eyes lit up moments later "Club soda!" she almost shouted, becoming aware at the last moment of how distracting shouting 'club soda' out of nowhere would be. Before Zion could accept her offer to dry it, she ran off to see if she could purchase a can of it. Fortunately, there seemed to be a vending machine that sold club soda, to which she happily paid 2 dollars for a can. After maybe five to ten minutes, the petite girl returned, with club soda in hand.

"The offer still stands!" she chimed in a friendly tone, sitting on the table next to Zion, only now noticing Lynx. "Oh! How long have you been here? she asked, clearly perplexed by this "Oh my! Did I not notice you?" a tone of realization mixed with shock and guilt filled her voice as she spoke.

Lillian quickly fixed the last few tangles, before going to the door and grabbing her bag. "Okay... cafeteria..." she stopped, thinking, trying to remember where it goes, and started walking along to the cafeteria. Not paying much attention to her footsteps, she looked around, mumbling incoherently the whole way.

"I'm already ready." Jonas mumbled, waving his wings again. He quickly went into his human form, walking over and grabbing his bag. "I'm going to get food." He went out the door, making his way down the hall and arriving quickly at the cafeteria. Jonas looked at everything and everyone, mumbling.

Navneet ignored Jonas leaving and changed into his usual outfit. He wasn't really hungry but he could use a morning coffee. He grabbed all the books and stuffed it in his bag. He walked out of the room and started heading in the direction Jonas headed in to reach the cafeteria

Rao

It took a moment for Rao to answer, too busy quietly fuming behind her carefully practiced smile. Though she also quickly realized how hypocritical it was for her to get mad at this stranger- Rao hadn't event bothered remembering herself. "Totally close, though! I mean, sorta!" she laughed it off, making sure to assess the girl in front of her. "I'm Rao, though it can be kinda hard to pronounce for some people, so i'll gladly accept any nicknames you come up with, hehe~" She made sure to wink and strike a silly pose as she giggled. While she personally thought it made her look stupid, it worked to help relieve some tension from situations like this.

"I'm doing well! How are you today?" :Aria asked before spitting out a feather. She started pulling leaves out of her hair:

Ellie burst or laughing. “Eleanor! But that’s too fancy and sounds like ‘elegant’: two things I’m not. So call me Ellie. But I beg your realized that when I burst out of the bathroom with a hairbrush stuck in my hair and swearing, eh?” She snickered. “We’ll be a great match. You’re hilarious.”

Navneet made his way to the cafeteria where he saw a scene. He was staring at it for a few seconds and decided to ignore it. He walked to the desk and ordered for a coffee while surveying around the room. It seems that somebody spilled coffee on another person. Not like he cared though

Adelaide "Addi" August

Addi let out an anxious sigh as she opened the cafeteria doors, the sound of talking students flooding into her ears. She slowly walked straight to the breakfast line, looking around at her talking peers. Addi ordered some simple pancakes and a small mocha. After she was served, Addi took the tray of pancakes and sat down, quietly drinking her mocha while observing the other students from her table.

Zion Azriel

Zion glanced over at his wizard, smiling tiredly at him, "Nah," he replied, The coffee only stained my sweatshirt, no catastrophe here." His voice was cracked with weariness, and after rubbing his eyes, Zion handed over his hoodie to Faeryn, "Go ahead and do your pixie magic, or whatever it is you're gonna do," he muttered, stifling yet another yawn.

Ginevra Winfaal

Ginevra walked along the stone pathways outside, her loose bag in hand. The sun was beginning to turn white as it climbed further up the horizon, lighting up her fair complexion. She reached the main building and the cafeteria a few moments later. Opening the doors, Ginevra looked around, spotting a group of students crowding Zion, and a few more scattered across the room. Picking out the first empty table she saw, Ginevra set down her bag on the chair and went over to the line to get some breakfast.

Faeryn smiled to Aria. "My day is father pleasant as of now!" the punkish styled girl happily chimed to her familiar, helping her to pick some of the remaining leaves from her hair.

The short aero witch turned her attention back to Zion and gave the familiar a smirk "Nothing magic about this!" she happily remarked as she poared some of the soda on the stain, blotting it with a napkin she shad in her back. Gradually, the stain disappeared "Voia, a stainless hoodie!" though wet, the hoodie was stainless.

The dark haired witch could very easily fix the dampness of the garment and that's what she did! Fae cast a moderate breeze spell on the hoodie with one hand, while holding onto the hoodie tightly with the other "Presto! One clean, dry hoodie!" she proudly presented Zion with his item of clothing, a friendly smile on her face.

"Oh, that's good, then." Lynx backs off a little, presumably to give Zion some space, but more for his own sake. He grins cheerfully at the girl who'd cleaned Zion's hoodie with some soda. "Next time I soak my jacket in coffee, I'm using soda so I still smell delicious, and I will think of you, dear." He turns back to Zion, and inclines his head slightly. "Well, see you."

Without waiting for a response, he heads off towards the lunch line, bringing up a hand to adjust his sunglasses.

Riley sighs, taking his food and going off to find an empty space to eat. Considering the sheer amount of people in this place despite the terrible hour of the day it is, he doesn't think that's going to happen, and he hovers by a relatively empty table, wondering if it isn't against the rules to eat in the dorm rooms.

Navneet picked up his coffee and walked to the desk at the corner of the cafeteria. He saw Jonas nearby but he didn't utter a word. He was hoping that Jonas would sit next to him and nobody else as he wasn't really close to anyone here. Navneet slowly sipped on his coffee as he looked out of the window.

Rao

Rao smiled back, twirling a strand of hair between her fingers. " 'Kay then, Ellie! I'm sure we're gonna have a ton of fun!" She announced, kicking her feet back against the mattress, making a soft 'thump' sound. "I'm like, really so glad that you weren't scary, or some real jerk. I'm glad that you're totally cool like this." It would've been awful to be stuck with a boring roommate, and this one looks like she might even be down to pull some pranks with her.

Zion took his red sweatshirt and examined it thoroughly, "Impressive," he spoke with a nod. The hoodie was completely dry, with no stain in sight, as if nothing had ever happened. Staring at his clean hoodie for a moment longer, Zion slipped it back on, and zipped it up to the middle of his chest. Rubbing his tired eyes once more, Zion's gaze returned to Faeryn, "That's some mighty fine pixie magic you've got there."

Navneet was sipping on his coffee and studying the room. He realized his coffee had finished. He threw the disposable cup into the trash can and started walking towards his classroom.
