So currently there's no reward for collecting puzzle pieces, and I think there should be. Maybe a small PD award, a random item, or something cute and only for aesthetic that doesn't affect the game, like being able to choose the completed puzzle as the background to the site. Something small and cute. Whats your guys' thoughts on this?

Yes, I love the idea of using a completed puzzle as the background of the main site. Some of the puzzles look really nice and almost look perfect as a main site background.

People often think the PH sprites are bland. Do they shade? Well, yes they do. You'll be surprised how much care is taken for these sprites.

I support this 100%, completing the puzzles and using them as a background would be amazing! I know we already have quite a few background but this would give us a lot more variety! Some of the puzzles would look really cool as backgrounds as well!

The problem with the whole background idea is that the puzzles are way too small to turn them into a background that wouldn't turn out all blurry and meh. Maybe some of the artists happen to have bigger versions but chances are they don't. (I, for one, can say that I don't have a bigger version of mine.) Simply for the reason that back then, with the 'contest', one of the requirements were that submissions had to be the exact dimensions the puzzles are displayed on the puzzle collection page now (600x400).

So yeah, the idea itself is nice but very likely not doable. Plus, you might not get a reward for the puzzles themselves (other than beautiful pictures to look at :3c) but they're part of another 'quest' that do give a reward in the end, so there's that.

Thus, no support.
