Ok, so I'm not really sure if it is a bug or not, but if it isn't it's kinda a complaint.

I was really stuck on my last Hoopa ring. Now I'm usually pretty good at these hunts, I have found every Easter Egg every single year. I have a list of links for all those obscure/easily forgotten pages such as the Harvest Sprite Hint page, and the Hangman Word Suggestions page. Of course, before I resort to the list, I first go through every link from every page in the Home, Town, Settings and Community tabs. So when it comes to the list of links, I usually skip the regular ones, like Daycare and Tall Grass, because I know I've already checked there.

So, for this last ring, I go through most of the links 5 times, the last couple of times only skipping the really simple ones that only require 1 click to get there. Frustrated, for the last time I decided to just go through ALL the links, just in case.

The very first link I clicked, the ring was there. It was on the news page.

But I had seen that page so often since starting the Hoopa Quest that I knew it hadn't been there before, which confused me because I know the rings don't move, they stay in the same place.

That was when I realized that the web address said pokeheroes.com/index, when it normally just says pokeheroes.com. I checked, and sure enough the ring didn't appear on the regular news page (proof), but it does on the index page (proof).



My problem is this: as far as I can see they are the same page. BUT, the News page is the one you automatically get directed to when you use the tabs, sidebar and banner. None of the news page links that I can find lead to the index version of the page. You actually have to type it into the web address bar to get to it.

So I think that either the hoops should not be found on the index version of the page, or if it is on one it should be on the other too.

Fixed!
The Hoopa Rings are no longer hidden on the Index-page.
If you are currently doing the quest and one of your rings was hidden on the Index-page before this update, it is now moved to the Privacy policy page instead.

cuz I've been on 3 of 5 for almost a week and I've checked every page

There's no 'mainly'; every viable page has the same chance of holding a ring.
If you have 3 of 5, you must've missed some links...
