"Pleasure to meet you!" Sofia grinned and picked Keith off the ground. "I'm Sofia and this is Keith!" She introduced, holding the shinx loosely in her arms. "I'm going to be the champion!" She proclaimed. She turned to Sorrel, her eyes gleaming. "Don't be so shy Mr. Sorrel! What's your partner's name?"

[Welp I don't think I've introduced myself to anyone yet lmao. I'm pretty much hitting the opposite of my sociable personality right now but I'll wait till people make it to Jubilife or so before I get to talking.]

Ben walked deeper into the route, recalling his pokemon as he himself felt a tad bit lost. He noticed someone running off carrying a pokemon and someone else still in the vicinity. "Uhh..Excuse me..?" Ben said, slowly walking up to Adrian. "Do you know where the end of this dreaded route is?" He asks, as Taillow looks at the two.

Adrian scoffed at Sean's comment. "I-I'm not a newbie... I'm just... not experienced..." he attempted to retort, clearly offended at this. He looked down at his Piplup who looked back up at him and followed Sean before he noticed they were being approached by someone. "Um. We're not really on the right path but I'm sure once we're back on the main road we'll be able to get out of here..." he answered.

Phoebe puckered her lips at Maeve whilst squinting at her. "What's with the frown?" she asked with a bit of attitude in her tone, her Eevee crying its name after her trainer spoke.

Sorrel makes a mildly offended noise. "My name is Sorrel without the Mister, thanks," he grumbles irritably. "And Mr. Carbonell is my father, thanks." He glares at the Absol, who's currently sitting on her haunches and wearing a smugly amused expression. "What do you think's so funny?"

The Absol makes a chirring noise that sounds suspiciously like laughter. "Yeah, this is exactly why I don't have a name for you," Sorrel says, though his tone is half-hearted because despite himself, the Absol's standoffish (and if he's being honest, rude as heck) attitude has grown on him some. "You can be Pokemon Zero so you can ditch me whenever."

Evelyn follows after the two other girls at a distance, mostly to keep in pace with her Budew, who's recovered from Paralysis thanks to Maeve's Cheri Berry, who she still needs to thank. But Maeve seemed really concerned for Sean, not that she can fault her, considering how close they seem to be. She can't help but be a little jealous, but she squashes those feelings down.

"Mhmm." Sean snickered, before turning to the new kid. "Yeah. I got lost so we're out in the middle of the woods. You lost, too?" He said. "C'mon, I think I see the clearing." Sean smiled.

"Oh! I was just worried about Sean. He gets lost a lot. Once we couldn't find him for a few hours, I think we were nine." Maeve frowned. She then turned around. "Hey Evelyn. Sorry for like, disappearing on you."

"Uh..Yeah lost would be the right thing to say. I'm Ben by the way." Ben says, as he smiles at Sean for a brief moment. "Also, what's this clearing you're talking about? I could use a way out to Jubilife." Ben adds, as Taillow looks around the area the three are in.

Sean smiled. "Hey. I'm Sean, that's Adrian. There's a clearing near here but it's probably towards the middle of the route." He shrugged. "But yeah, we're going to Jubilife after."

"You sure you're not jealous?" Phoebe whispered due to the presence of Evelyn in case she was right and embarrassed Maeve in front of the other girl. Her Eevee looked up from the ground and snickered a bit.

Adrian fell silent as he studied the new "Ben" guy, though failing to remember if he'd seen him at the lab earlier that day or not. He immediately grew to somewhat dislike him due to the fact he was smiling at Sean, though kept this hidden from the other two. "I'm sure we could find Phoebe and Maeve on our way too." Adrian pointed out to Sean. "I think there was another girl who was supposed to tag along with us... Her name was like -- Evaline... or something. Maybe you could hang out with her? We're all kind of paired here already." Adrian told Ben, unintentionally being rude towards him.

"Hey, Adrian, that's kinda rude. We can all travel together, yeah?" Sean frowned. "And her name was Evelyn." He pointed out. "Ben, feel free to tag along with us, I'll be up ahead." He frowned, walking quickly.

Maeve stood still in thought, before bursting out in laughter. "BWAHAHA! YOU THINK I LIKE SEAN LIKE THAT?! No, no, no! Ahahah!" Maeve laughed, holding her sides. "Oh my god... I can't even.." She said, wiping tears from her eyes, still laughing like a maniac.

"Oh..uh sure! If we find her, then why not?" Ben said, as he looked at Adrian. He took light offense to the last bit of what Adrian had said, but decided to shrug it off. "Coming Sean!" Ben added, as he took off after Sean.

Adrian rolled his eyes at sighed at Sean's comment. "'Coming Sean'..." the boy mocked under his breath before trailing behind Sean and Ben. His Piplup seemed rather confused at this though happily followed behind his trainer.

Phoebe took a couple steps back from Maeve as she bust out laughing. "Yikes." she mumbled, egg shaking as she did so. Her Eevee turned and saw a few figures in the distance before crying out with a loud 'Eibui!' to get everyone's attention, Phoebe turning to see Adrian & the others and smiled.

"Oh! You're not dead!" Maeve cheered, hugging Sean.

"Yeah. Thankfully." Sean snickered. "Thanks to Adrian, I found my way back. To Jublife?" Sean suggested.

"Yeah!" Maeve cheered. "Hey, your egg's shakin, Phoebe." She pointed out.

Ben walked behind Sean as he seen a different group of trainers now here. "Oh.?" Ben said, as Taillow tried to count the amount of trainers at their location. "So which one is Mae..however you pronounce her name Adrian?" Ben adds, as he looks back at Adrian a with an embarrassed look on his face.

Beep! Beep! Beep! BEEP!!! "I'm up!" Alyssa said, jumping out of her bed as she read the alarm clock. "It's past 10?!!! I'm really late!" Alyssa yelled, as she frantically put on some clothes. She then rushed out the house with speeds faster than a Jolteon. "Gonna be a trainer! Love you guys! Bye!" "Bye! Be safe Honey!" Her mother replied. Alyssa started sprinting out of New Leaf and continued to sprint down Route 201, in efforts to make it to her destination before she's too late.

Adrian approached Phoebe slowly and the girl hugged her older stepbrother, grinning widely only to see a straight face, signifying his annoyance and disappointment, plastered on Adrian's face. "What's the matter?" she asked lowly, Adrian simply shaking his head in response which made Phoebe scoff. Adrian looked at Ben and then nodded in the direction of Maeve, disregarding the fact he'd been referring to Evelyn earlier.

Phoebe then turned to Maeve and Sean following Maeve's comment and she simply smiled.
"Yeah I feel it wiggle in my arms... We could just go to Jubilife and see if thing hatches on the way or in the city. I'm assuming it'll hatch soon regardless because it shakes a lot." she mentioned, taking a couple of steps towards the city before stopping due to her egg violently shaking, glowing a bright white.

"Oh! Sooner than expected?!" the girl shouted as the light grew brighter. There was a quick flash of the same white light causing Phoebe and Adrian both to turn their heads away from the egg now placed on the ground. As the light gradually dimmed down, Phoebe turned to see what Pokemon the Egg hatched into. It seemed to be some sort of purple Bat-like Pokemon with large ears, one she'd never seen before.

"Noibat, the Sound Wave Pokemon. A Flying & Dragon-type!" Phoebe's Pokedex began explaining, "Noibat's ears emit ultrasonic waves that can disturb its prey's sense of hearing and damage opponents. It uses ultrasonic waves to detect which fruits are ripe."

Phoebe then smiled as she put her Pokedex back in her pocket, looking happily at the newly-hatched Pokemon who'd still had its eyes closed. It slowly blinked its eyes open and looked up at Phoebe. "Noi?" it cooed, looking at Phoebe and then blinking more as it looked around.

"No way!" Maeve grinned. "Hey, that's really lucky, it looks super strong, Pheobe!" Maeve smiled, glancing at the Noibat. She rubbed her eyes. "That's one damn bright light, though. My eyes." She muttered that last part before cracking her knuckles. "I don't think those are Sinnoh natives?"

Sean smiled. "Neat! It's super cute, too!" He grinned, before turning to Adrian. "Are you okay?" He asked, both he and Chimchar concered.

Eyes fluttering open, yuuri stretched slightly as she shed the sleep from her mind. Sitting up she glanced at her clock, just having woken up she was moving sluggishly until suddenly her head snapped back to her clock; she was so late! Leaping from her bed, foot snagging in her blanket, yuuri rushed to get dressed and out the door. But before she could leave her parents stopped her wanting to give her some pokedollars and tips, after talking with her parents yuuri ran full speed to the professors lab not even slowing when near the tall grass since she was late enough already. Finally seeing the lab approaching yuuri slowed down to a stop in front of the door, at first not knowing what to do she looked around until she noticed a blue pokedex on the ground. At first confused why there was a heal ball on top of the pokedex it wasn't she noticed a card with her name in front that she realized they were hers. Picking up the pokeball and dex she first inspected the dex and quickly decided it needed something, which she would remedy later, before switching her attention to the pokeball in her hand. Excited to see what her partner would be yuuri called out the pokemon, eyes gleaming as the light began taking a shape before it it faded enough to reveal a swinub. Yuuri squealed at the cute pokemon, startling it when she then proceeded to pick it up.
Letting out a swi the swinub seemed to stare at yuuri not really moving until she spoke "hi swinub, we're partners starting today so lets get along ok? Hmm you know I kinda want to call you wilbur, what do you think of that?" The swinub seemed to agree as it let out a joyful swinub as an answer before wiggling itself out of yuuri's arms and walking a few paces when it stopped and looked back waiting for her.
Laughing at her partners actions yuuri hurried after her swinub "all right Wilbur let's go!" The two proceeded to walk towards route 202, first route they would travel on their journey, although first yuuri made it a point to stop at the pokemart for some pokeballs, potions, and maybe a repel or two. As they stepped onto the route yuuri immediately walked to the tall grass determined to train her pokemon. It wasn't long before a starly jumped out at her and Wilbur jumped at it ready to fight, surprising the starly by getting the first hit. The battle went quickly enough with Wilbur only getting hit twice and only having lost about 20% of health. Figuring Wilbur was ok for now she moved on looking for another pokemon to fight. This time it took some running around but yuuri found a bidoof and again Wilbur won the battle although this time yuuri had needed to use a potion so Wilbur wouldn't faint. Making good progress she continued on, falling into a rhythm of looking for another pokemon.

Adrian's eyes shot in Sean's direction as he was spoken to by him. "Me? Yeah. I'm fine." the boy lied.

Phoebe smiled at the newly hatched Noibat and then glanced up at Maeve before turning her attention back to the Flying & Dragon-type. "Yeah... I've never seen it before but with all of these trainers coming from other regions and all these migrating Pokemon and stuff, I wouldn't be surprised if one of the trainers from... whatever region it's from... just happened to lay an egg." she assumed. "Plus with all of these new Pokemon discoveries like-- have you heard of the Regional Variants in Alola?"

The Noibat, initially smiling, quickly began to frown as tears formed in its eyes and it wimpered. In the matter of seconds, the Bat-like Pokemon then burst into tears while at the same time using a very boisterous Supersonic attack, causing Phoebe, Adrian and their Pokemon to cover their ears. "Can't you shut that thing up?!" Adrian shouted over the Supersonic. "I don't know how!" Phoebe answered though soon assumed the newly hatched Pokemon had been hungry and reached for some fruit she'd picked while walking through the Route. She laid a few of them out in front of the Pokemon who soon stopped crying and then sensed each one individually to determine which one of them was the ripest.

As the Noibat reached for what was deemed by Phoebe as the ripest fruit she'd picked, a blur sped by the group and swiped the fruit right out of the Noibat's grasp. "Hey!" Adrian shouted after it. A gray figure was seen by a nearby tree, back turned to the group and turned to reveal the face of a Glameow. "That not yours! Give it back!" Adrian demanded rather child-like.

The Glameow simply snarled in their direction as Adrian and Phoebe both readied their Pokemon, though Phoebe was stopped by Adrian. "Phoebe, don't. This is my fight." he assured, calling his Piplup to attack the Glameow with a Peck Attack. The Glameow waited until Adrian's Piplup grew closer before using Fake Out to cause it to flinch, quickly followed up by a sly Slash attack making a direct hit on the Water-type.

[CRYING IM. SO LATE]

"I've never seen that kind of Pokemon before," Evelyn says, peering at the small Pokemon in Phoebe's arms even as her PokeDex begins recording its data. "Aww, it's so cute. Hey there, little guy." She wiggles her fingers at it, holding up Sheryl so she can get a better look. The Mareep nudges Evelyn's hip with his head, looking curious about the newborn.

"I'm pretty sure this guy's pretty young, too," Evelyn adds, patting the Mareep gently on the head. He seems confused about the touch, shying away, but then appears to accept it as a nonthreatening move. "He's only level two, and he didn't really seem to know how to battle." She looks at him, wondering what she should call him. Oswald has a nice ring to it.

She startles as a gray blur races by them, mrrowing fiercely, and jumps, moving out of the way in surprise.

Noticing that no one picked up on his error (or at least said anything to correct him), Ben made a relieved sigh as Taillow looks around. Buneary shakes in her pokeball, feeling quite excited to meet someone.


Alyssa rushed through Sandgem Town, finding the lab in no time. Once she got to the lab, she took a 10 minute break due from the amount she ran/how far she ran. She quickly took her pokemon and a Purple pokedex, thanked the Professor, and went on her way about her journey. "Okay so we're definitely gonna need some pokeballs.." Alyssa said, as her first stop was to a Pokemart to grab some Pokeballs. Once she got her Pokeballs, she walked off to Route 202 to train.

Ina watched Sorrel’s amusing interaction with his absol. “Wow , even your own partner agrees that you are a big pain! “ She laughed giddily. She hopped over to stand next to Sofia. “Welllll, Sofia, good luck with that! That’s a pretty big goal! Especially with me on board it too!” Ina happily placed Woopwoop on her own head and stuck her thumbs up in the air.
