Alyssa walks off to Route 202 to begin her training. Her Litwick smiled as he walked behind her, making feeling quite confident in his trainer. She heard yelling in the distance, and tried to walk away from the drama. Once she started to walk through the tall grass, a Aipom popped out of the grass. "Oh! Litwick! use ember!" Alyssa said, as Litwick blew some flames at Aipom. Aipom retaliated with a scratch, which didn't affect Litwick. "Now's my chance.!" She thought. "Pokeball! Go!" She roared, as she threw a pokeball at Aipom.
Ding
Ding...
Ding....
Catch! "Wooo!!! I caught my first pokemon!"

"Piplup! Use Bubble!" Adrian called. Instead of the typical Bubble attack, Piplup's beak glowed light blue and it released denser blue bubbles at a faster pace towards the Normal-type. "Adrian, that's Bubble Beam!" Phoebe shouted to inform her stepbrother, making Adrian smile at this.
While the boy was distracted, the Wild Glameow began attacking again, this time using a combination of Swift and Attract which appeared stunning when combined. This caught Adrian's attention due to the fact that it could be used in Contests, but quickly came back to reality. "Piplup, spin and use Bubble Beam!" he called, the Penguin Pokemon proceeding to do as it was commanded and collided with the combination of moves mid-air, popping both attacks and causing sparkles to fall from the point of collision.
While the Glameow was looking at this, Piplup managed to quickly run up to it and continuously used Peck on it, dealing damage and weakening it significantly. "Pound!" The Glameow took a direct hit and struggled to get up from the ground, which Adrian took to his advantage. He pulled out a Love Ball from his bag and threw it at the Cat Pokemon. [i]1... 2.... 3.... Click! At the same time, Phoebe tapped the baby Noibat with a Dusk Ball due to it being a Bat-like Pokemon and captured it in that.

Sean raised an eyebrow at Adrian before turning to Maeve. "Hey. Are there any like, non shinx non normal types around here?"
"Why would I know?" Maeve responsed.
"Your dad-"
"No. Not that I know of." Maeve said, cutting him off angrily. "There should be some after Jubilife though."

Alyssa smiled as she recalled her pokemon and then continued her walk down route 202, making sure to avoid some of the trainers that were there. As she's walking past some trees, a Youngster trainer surprises her. [The same one that Ben lost to lmao] "Hey! I challenge you to a pokemon battle!" The kid said, as he sent his Starly out. "Okay...Litwick! Let's do this!" Alyssa replied, as Litwick popped out of his pokeball ready to battle.

She spun around and ran straight into the patch of grass. “Wild Pokemon! Come out and fight me!” She yelled.
Startled by the noise, a starly flew out of the grass.
“Uh let’s see…” she muttered, ” Woopwoop! Use water gun!”
“Woop! ” woopwoop hopped down from Ina’s head and ran after the starly on her tiny little nub feet.
The starly suddenly swooped down and flew down right in front of Sorrel.
At that exact moment, woopwoop let out a “PWAAAA”and unleashed the quite drenching watergun, accidentally hitting Sorrel and the starly in the process.

Sorrel gives a yelp of surprise as Woopwoop's Water Gun douses him in water. "Arceus-dammit!" he yells at Ina. The Starly squawks loudly, flying blindly towards him. "Arceus--what moves do you even know?" He hastily scrabbles for his PokeDex, checking Zero's moveset. "Zero, Quick Attack!"
Thankfully, the Pokemon actually obeys, and she lunges at the bird Pokemon with deadly speed and accuracy, knocking it to the ground and taking the rest of its HP with the blow and spraying water everywhere on Ina and Woopwoop, probably to get back at them since she'd gotten soaked along with Sorrel and the Starly.

He walked over to Ben and let out a small huff and paused for a moment. "I'm sorry if I seemed rude earlier. Like Sean said, you can definitely tag along with all of us." he apologized to the boy, pausing for a moment afterwards before turning back to Sean nervously as if he were saying sorry to Sean. This behavior was pushed onto him by Phoebe as Adrian typically doesn't apologize or admit he was wrong but definitely knows when he is though this was a unique case due to the fact he's trying to get to know Sean a bit more due to his attraction towards him.
"Okay. Enough of this, let's head into the city before it's this continues to grow into a dramatic episode of a teenage soap opera." Phoebe suggested, voice getting lower as her sentence ended and she began walking towards the direction her PokeGear highlighted.

"Okay let's see what you can do," Sofia pulled out her pokedex. The pokedex registered the wild pidgey, level 4, and then displayed Keith's available moves. "Oh great, only tackle." Sofia sighed. "Keith, use tackle!" She cried, pointing at the pidgey. Keith yipped and charged, successfully tackling the pidgey, its health bar going down into the yellow. "Good job Keith!" Sofia smiled, digging through her bag to find a pokeball. She held up a normal pokeball. "Let's do this!" She cried, throwing the pokeball at the hurt pidgey. She held her breath as the pokeball shook once, twice and then a third time, coming to a stop with a click! Her pokedex lit up, showing Keith's exp bar going up a third, and then displaying pidgey's full information. "Sweet! I'll name you Pidge." Sofia said, picking up the pokeball. "Welcome to the team, Pidge!"

Litwick spewwed up some more flames as Starly turned too late and took another ember to the face. Starly fainted as the youngster paid up the fee while mumbling something under his breath. "Nice job Litwick!" Alyssa said, as she grinned at her pokemon while taking the money for her victory. "Keep this up and we'll be the strongest in no time!"

"Not that bad. Onwards?" Maeve said, nodding slowly, her Aipom crawling on her head and Stunky by her feet.

Phoebe walked with her Eevee on her shoulder and baby Noibat practicing flying by perching on the girl's buns before jumping up, flapping its wings and gliding in the air only to land back on Phoebe's head as it got tired. "Trying to fly, huh?" she asked the Bat Pokemon proudly. "Noi!" it cried happily in response.

Sean hummed under his breath before her Chimchar jumped to the ground. Sean turned for a second before resuming his walk, yawning.
Chimchar crept up to Piplup, studying the penguin-like Pokémon from a distance.

"Lost Pokemon?" she muttered, taking a couple of steps towards them.
Adrian eventually began walking side by side with Sean and remained awkwardly silent for a few moments.
"S-So uh... I'm thinking of entering the Jubilife City Contest..." he admitted nervously, looking over at the other boy for some sort of response.
Piplup hadn't noticed Sean's Chimchar studying him while he walked, continuing the same "Pip" followed with every step as the Water-type Starter was lost in its own world at the moment.
