Tiger glanced over to Z and blinked he looked like he was going to
say something but decided against it. If I say anything it might
just make things worse...i mean I can't even ask about Unova...I'm
starting to think that this wasn't a smart idea to have everyone in
Johto so soon after something happened in Unova he thought to
himself, and sighed. He shook the thoughts and pushed the concern
to the back of his mind. He then walked into route 37 with his head
down.
Tiger looked up and blinked he grabbed his pokegear to look at the
map. "Err...route 37 it's the route between Goldenrod, Violet, and
Ecruteak." He mumbled and put the pokegear away before continuing
on silently.
Mel smiled blankly. "I have no idea what any of those towns are."
She remarked. "Was Goldenrod famous for some kind of drink of food?
I feel like I remember something like that." She said
thoughtfully.
Riu winced and slowed his pace so they fell behind the others.
"Her aura is really off. It's alarming. Did you.. Did you
mention anything else?" He asked quietly.
Tiger didn't look over to Mel as he replied. He had his hands in
his pockets as he walked and his expression wasn't giving anything
away as he walked ahead of the group. "Goldenrod is known for
apricorn juice the pokeathlon is nearby and they provide the juice
for the city" he said simply. "Though were not going to Goldenrod
today" he said evenly and walked past the national park.
Tiger glanced over to Cyndaquil. He still didn't look to the group.
Cyndaquil then jumped into Tiger's bag and pulled out the apricorn
blender. He went over to Mira and handed the item to her. It had
some fruit juice in it. "Not really Apricorn juice is more along
the lines of a nutritional drink than a snack that heals status
ailments." Tiger explained simply and shrugged.
Mira sipped a little bit of the juice. “...Ooh. That’s pretty good.
I typically don’t like that kind of drink, but that’s good,” She
reported with a smile. She looked over to Tiger and raised her
eyebrows. “...You good?”
Watt reached for some of the juice, trying to get a sip.
Tiger blinked and glanced over to Mira. "Uh yeah I'm fine. Just a
little tired" he said lying slightly. Cyndaquil went back over to
Tiger with the apricorn blender, but after he gave Watt a small
bit.
Riu reached up to pat Glacie's head sympathetically. He glanced at
Toka briefly and tilted his head and sighed. "In Unova we had
some issues. Something happened to Z i'm not too sure what happened, honestly,
and she hasn't been the same since. Mel doesn't know anything
because she was unconscious for two
months."
Cyndaquil went back into Tiger's bag and Tiger continued down the
route to Ecruteak. "Apricorns can be used for other things
too...they might be berries, but they're to hard to eat raw. They
need to be blended for their juice, but Kurt makes specialty
pokeballs with them too" he said evenly in an attempt to distract
himself from the thoughts of Unova.
Tiger thought for a moment. "Lure ball, Fast ball, Moon ball, Heavy
ball, Level ball, Friend ball, and the Love ball" he replied
listing the types of pokeballs off the top of his head. "The
different colors of Apricorn will give off the different types of
pokeballs."
"Great, because none of us know how this is affecting them. So
we've been having fun." Riu sighed miserably. The past few
months had been extremely stressful. He glanced at Glacie tiredly.
"Mel doesn't remember anything that happened other than the
hair-burning thing. And even that's fuzzy."
Mel yawned and rummaged through her backpack to pull out her
pokegear to scroll through it, marking locations to remember.
"Marron lives in an apricorn too." She snickered.
Tiger nodded and walked into Ecruteak City. He looked around the
city silently, and yawned before overhearing part of Riu, and shook
his head to try and ignore what he heard. "Anyway...this is
Ecruteak" he said softly and stopped just under a tree. The burnt
tower was visible in the distance, and the tin tower was next to it
on the opposite side of the city. There was a small stage near the
tin tower where preparations for the festival were taking place.
