//bumps again// I refuse to let this die. The Elin/Andy shipping
must not go on.
Kace's phone chirped, and he picked it up to check the
notification. "You know, if you guys don't have classes, you should
take a walk with me. I have some time to kill before Elin gets back
from his competition. Plus, I'm ninety-nine percent sure all of my
friends are hanging out in the various coffee shops across campus,
so you all can branch out and meet some new company. What about
it?"
you have no idea how grateful I am for this new bump because I
can actually work with this. Also, I'll forever ship Elin x Andy
kthx
Lou looked up and actually seemed excited for once. "Sure", she
said, "I'd love to. And I'm just going to assume that Andy would
love that too. After all, we can still talk while walking around,
right?"
She gave Andy a friendly nudge, hoping that he would come along, as
Lou would feel awkward to walk around only with Kace. "Just don't
expect me to be the one to talk to your friends first, alright
Kace?"
Andy practically beamed, looking like stars are going to appear in
his eyes at any second now "Count me In! Gonna fill my Monthly
Social Quota" He got up from his chair in a flash, almost knocking
it over. Having a good Friend Circle guaranteed survival at School,
that's what is Brother told him- It's not like he doesn't have one
already through. Kace and Lou are his Friends, Right? Isn't it
pathetic, considering that they live all at the same house? He
pushed that thought away.
"Cool. Then I'll just slip on some jeans, leash up Ziu, and we'll
leave. I'll be back in five." Kace saves his work and shuts down
his computer while he's talking. He closes the lid, sets it on the
coffee table, and stands up, heading towards the second floor.
Lou nodded. "I'll get my jacket", she said and went upstairs and
into her room. She returned shortly after, wearing her black
leather jacket.
"Anyways, Andy, what are you here for?", she asked. "I think you
never told us."
For a moment Andy just awkwardly stood in the middle of the
Kitchen, Was leaving this house a good idea? He wants to meet new
people but what if they find somebody b-Wait, It's not like he can
just stay here forever. He doesn't have much of a choice so he has
to look at positive side of things, as always. No Negativity in
this Household. When Lou returned and asked the question Andy
tensed for a little bit, almost as if uncomfortable, before masking
it with a sheepish laugh "Theatre, Mostly. It was my Childhood
dream ever since i can remember and it kinda... persisted, lets
say. You?" He hoped to change the subject as soon as possible..
"Oh, that's cool", she replied, though she noticed Andy's reaction
to the question. It was as if he was very uncomfortable - the same
kind of tension she always felt when someone asked her about her
parents. "I'm mostly here for acting as well, though I want to be a
film actress. Anyways. You have a favorite animal by any chance?",
she added quickly, changing the topic.
Kace came back downstairs, this time wearing a pair of form-fitting
jeans and a band t-shirt that said Technicolor Scars on it.
His dog, Ziu, was beside him, bright-eyed as always, with a black
collar snugly clasped around her neck. Little silver stars were
sown onto the material, and Kace had a matching leash in his hands.
"All right, everyone ready?"
That was smooth topic changer- As smooth as a pebble path- but Andy
was still grateful for it. He let out a breath that he didnt knew
he was holding and allowed his brain to relax. He should most
likely work on it later... "Can't wait till we work together,
Partner! And.. Isn't it quite obvious? I love all Animals but
Flufball Hoppers are special" He said, tugging at the hem of his
hoodie. Finally, Wild Kace appeared. "Ready as i ever be! You gonna
enjoy the Sun before Autumn strikes hard... "
"Then, let's go. I know a really good coffee place around here with
outdoor seating." Kace replies, coupling the words with one of his
dazzling smiles as he walks towards the front door and holds it
open for them. "After you."
Andy slipped through the open door and took in the view, It felt
like he didn't seen the sun for ages! The campus seemed nice, it
was certainly a lot greener than he expected. "Do they also serve a
hot chocolate or somethin? I cant chug coffee down unless there are
like three spoons of sugar in it." His eyes still scanned the area,
Not looking back at the doors. He is going to spend a lot of time
here so better get used to it. At this point, it felt kinda...
Wrong. As if he is not supposed to be here. Its most likely because
its soo different from the Farm, he shouldn't overthink this. He
can't allow himself to overthink this.
"They serve a lot of stuff, including different kinds of hot
chocolate. I'm sure everyone can find something they like." Kace
replies, as Ziu pushes past Andy and bounds across the lawn
happily. She stops at a tree to look back, as if asking 'you
coming?'
Rylie bounded out the door. "Triple mocha frappucino with whipped
cream, a pinch of cinnamon, and two pumps of espresso," She
recited. "...That's my regular."
"Dang." Kace whistles, impressed. No wonder she's so hyper.
He thinks to himself, motioning for Ziu to come back. She ignores
him and paces in a circle excitedly, as if she can't wait to get
going, as if there will be something good at the cafe.
"Totally, let me just..." Kace snatches a key ring out of a bowl
sitting beside the door and shoves it into his pocket. "Let's go.
The walk should be nice this time of year."
