Jenny stood, shoving the book in her bag. "Did anyone else hear that."

"No! Don't take the bag! Hands! Off!" the girl screamed. "Granbull! Play Rough!" A dog barking loudly and pained screams followed.

"This... is weird." Jenny said, motioning to her Nidorino to follow her as she ran.

A girl, 16, stood surrounded by rocket grunts, clutching a backpack emblazoned with a moon and sword symbol. "Don't touch me! Or the bag!" She yelled, tears in her eyes as she shielded herself, a Poliwrath behind her and her Granbull & Starmie beside her.

Mel nodded towards Riu and flat out raced towards the screams. Bless roller blades. Riu was right on her heels.

"HEY!" She shouted. "I WILL NOT HESITATE TO KICK SOMEONE."

Mira skidded to a halt, having dropped all her stuff. "What's going on here?" She growled, waking up Dratini. She jumped upon hearing a voice, and turned to see Victoria. "Attack and I swear to Articuno I will kill you."

"Angel use Shadow ball!" Z said as the Absol did as it was told, making an opening. Z stood in front of the girl, A dark look on her face. "Leave her alone!" She snapped at the grunts.

Riu quickly swatted the Weavile away, holding a glowing blue bone and growling.

A whole opened in the ground causing Riu to fall in. "Dug, use aerial ace if will please."

The Drilbur went slashing at Riu before disappearing back into a tunnel.

"You okay Rachel?" Victoria asked getting a nod from the Weavile.

Z looked over her shoulder at the girl "you ok?" she asked, her red eye's seeming to shine in the moonlight. Angel growled at the grunts that got too close and used shadow ball to attack pokemon.

Mel dropped to her knees. This is what I get for not bringing anyone else with me. "Riu, are you okay?" She called into the hole.

Riu groaned in annoyance and stood inside the hole, glancing up and nodded.

"It's in the ground, come on!" She called, reaching down as far as she could.

Riu reached up as well, using a few bones as platforms to stand on. He reached up and grasped her hand, and she hauled him out.

"You're not ruining this for us." Luma flipped her hair in annoyance. "Houndoom, shadow ball on that Inkay."

Houndoom leapt forward to use the attack.

The Drilbur looked shocked before using aerial ace once again in close range.

"Seems things are going better since we have more grunts."
