Mals, however, was there within an instant, grabbing Apple's leg before it could touch the ground again, and pushing him backwards easily, making him topple to the ground. "Violence isn't needed to make a point." He says, his voice almost a growl.

Apple glared at him and if glares could kill, Apple could've easily just done that. "Fine, you make a fine point there," he said, dusting himself. "Let's just found a way out of the mess two idiots caused us probably me too because I'm surely not innocent in this." he suggested, mumbling the last part.

Lance glanced at Mals and smiled. »Oh well, by the way, I didn't catch your name--« he wanted to attempt a good start (if that was even possible after this little action) but was literally cut off by a leg.
»Woah what are those reflexes though,« he said with amazement when Mals caught Apples' leg.

Lance looked at Mals and for a moment, he felt sorry for him. »Oh,« he said.
He quickly shook his head. »Just in case you didn't hear it~ The name's Lance,« he added quickly, hoping that Mals didn't hear the little "oh" that slipped out of his mouth before. He smiled widely - until he noticed that he still held Mals' arm. He quickly let go of his arm and cleared his throat as discreetly as possible, avoiding further eye contact. For some reason, this made him feel rather uncomfortable. Why? He didn't know. Usually he would start flirting with him.

"I'm Apple. Apple Talizure. Anyway, does anyone have ideas on how we can escape this god-forsaken kingdom already?" Apple asked everyone in the group. "We're definitely wanted and any second guards could come for us-" he was cut off by knights from the kingdom looking at the alleyway they were in. "The thieves are here, we found them!" they yelled to other guards.
"Speak of the devil!" Apple hissed.

Mals gave a small little smile, his charm back full-force. "Always nice to know the name of someone so handsome." He says, choosing to ignore the sympathy that had been in Lance's gaze before. Really, so many people thought he'd had such a terrible family, but he hadn't particularly minded. They taught him to fight, to fend for himself, to think for himself. Sure, he didn't love his siblings all that much, but they weren't bad. He'd liked them well enough, especially when they were being decent. His thoughts were cut off by the guards. "Run." He says, calmly, dashing off down the alleyway a moment later.

"Wow, thanks, Sir Obvious," Apple mumbled to himself and followed him, running after Mals. "Do you know where we should go?" he asked Mals, wondering where he was really heading.

Lance grabbed his dragon and quickly followed Mals and Apple, being essentially slowed down by the weight of the dragon. He glared at Apple for a moment at his comment. »I'm pretty sure Mals has an idea of what he's doing,« he found himself defending the stranger.

"I know a shortcut." Mals replies. "I steal here pretty often." His mismatched eyes take in everything around him, waiting for what he knows is coming. If he's not paying attention, he'll miss it. Suddenly, he turns on a dive, slipping down an incredibly narrow alley in the blink of an eye.

Apple followed him and did the same thing but stumbled a bit during a turn. Wow, now I really regret all those things I've said about you. Apple thought. He wanted to say something to him before they were cut off by a female knight that stopped them.

"Stop right there, thieves!" she said. This knight here was named Blessing Amouright, a popular knight in the kingdom among others, known for her outstanding, beautiful looks and her heroic deeds. By the time they were blocked, other guards had gathered by the other exit too.

Lance found himself trapped with Mals, Apple and Rylie. Both exits were blocked by guards. »So, how are you gonna get us out of this, Mals?« Lance asked, a little provocative.

Mals looks up. "Yeah, I can't do that." He says, so instead he blinks, and within a second he's turned into an eagle. I was aiming for dragon, but I suppose this is better than nothing. He thinks, opening his wings and taking off, landing neatly by Rylie and shifting back human. "That was much better than what I was hoping for." He mutters to himself.

Lance was amazed at how easily both Rylie and Mals came up there - but apparently they forgot about Apple and him. »Hey, you guys, could you perhaps give us a ride or something?« Lanced shouted up to them as he held the dragon baby and pointed to Apple.
