Mira huffed and climbed the rest of the way up. "At least use a
potion. Here, take one of mine," She tossed Lion a super potion.
"Also. I still don't know who you are."
Lion growled, and took the potion. "Don't tell me how to raise my
Pokemon. Especially you, Tiger. You won't let Cyndaquil be free of
his condition" he said lowly. Cyndaquil growled angrily, and shot
off a flamethrower at the trainer.
"Pokemon shouldn't die for no reason...now you do know Squirtle is
unable to battle right? You're forcing him to continue on while
he's on the verge of fainting..." He said darkly.
Lion shrugged, and narrowed his eyes. The sprout tower elder was
watching the events unfold. "Give me my Pokemon back..." He said
lowly. "I'll use this super potion on him and let him continue
fighting"
"No" tiger said lowly. "You expect me to watch your Pokemon get
hurt again? Bellsprout isn't even close to fainting." He pointed
out, and nodded to the Bellsprout who was dancing around the
battlefield like the tower they stood in.
Mel sighed. "Two big cats fighting. What could go wrong." She shook
her head. "You're using a water type against a grass type and
forcing it to battle when it's obviously not strong enough to
continue on. You need to take it to the Pokémon center."
Lion growls, and walked over to Tiger. He then snatched the Pokemon
out of his arms. "You don't have to fight..." Tiger told the
Squirtle in Pokemon.
"If I don't...Lion will punish me..." Squirtle replied
darkly. Lion then placed the Pokemon in front of Bellsprout.
"Continue battling" Lion growled lowly. The elder narrowed his eyes
and returned Bellsprout.
"No I refuse to battle a trainer who can't sense the pain his
Pokemon feel. Come back when you've matured" the elder said to Lion
crossly.
"What you can't do that! You have the HM for flash" Lion said
crossly, and growled
"Buy a flashlight then..." The elder said simply, and shook his
head. "Power isn't everything, and it isn't obviously treating your
Pokemon like tools. You need to understand that Pokemon are more
than that. Until then you aren't allowed to battle me. I'll refuse
every time..." He said lowly. Lion then growled and returned
Squirtle.
"Bless." Mel muttered. She watched Lion walk away and glowered at
him. She still hadn't forgiven him for yelling in the well. "Bring
it to a Pokémon center!" She yelled after him, before turning back
to the others.
Tiger shook his head "I'm not gonna battle. I don't need flash as
Cyndaquil's Flames lights my paths in caves" he said kindly. "I'll
see you guys later. I'm going to battle the gym"
"I'll be choosing Blaze." Victor said to the monk, and Blaze came
forward to battle. Even though Victor didn’t want Flash, Blaze was
mostly underprepared for gym battle.
Victor nodded. "Flame burst!" He commanded.
The Cyndaquil tried to use the move, and a ball of fire formed
above his back. But, since the move was too powerful, it blasted
before hitting its target, hurting Blaze.
"Careful!" Victor whispered, not ready for this. I guess it
might be too powerful for him to handle.
