Mel skittered back towards them after missing most of the
conversation. "Who was who?" She asked curiously, approaching them.
"Are you talking about the Sylveon and the trainer with it?"
"Nah. Roy had to take a call," Mira explained briefly, tossing the
pokeball with the Growlithe in it into the air and catching it once
more in her palm.
(*SLAMS HANDS DOWN* IS THIS REFERENCES IM SMELLING)
"Thanks. And I'm not surprised, Growlithe is called the playful
Pokémon by a lot of people." Mel grinned and looked at newly named
Char. "It fits." She decided lightly.
Lucario, who had put himself in a defensive stance upon spotting
Char about to leap at him, relaxed his stance slightly to stand
normally.
Mira smiled and nodded. "For Arceus' sake, Char, just spark a
conversation with Lucario. You're clawing my arm off," She
chuckled, shifting her position to hold Char under her forearms.
She was still squirming.
"Hi! I'm Char!" She waved, barking.
(Riolu evolved into Lucario, and Mira just named Char. Other than
that, nothing much)
(Wait, were you on for the evil Sylveon? A trainer and a wild
Pokémon ran by them, and the Sylveon glared at Shine and Dragonair,
which caused Dragonair to pass out, and Roy said he'd seen the
Sylveon before, and it would kill dragon types. It's only fear is
Lucarios, hence Riolu's evolution this early.)
Mel snorted. "Lucario, don't be grumpy, please."
"Hello Char." Lucario greeted politely, dipping his head
slightly. "I'm Lucario. Welcome to the group."
Mira snorted. "Wait until I bust out my pokeflute."
"That's different. You can actually play a pokeflute. You
cannot play a kazoo."
"There aren't any kazoo lessons. If I could learn to formally play
a kazoo, than I would," Mira stuck her tongue out at Toka, and she
returned the gesture.
"Yeah. Steven, for whatever reason, hoards them. Yes, there are
more than one." Roy said, stretching. "But what's less known is
that you can call more than Latios and Latias. In fact, any air
Pokemon can recognize the sound of a specially tuned Eon Flute."
