Crystal gave a sad smile and said, "I guess I've been know to go a little overboard.... I'd like to try ghost though if you think I can." She felt more energy come through her and she pushed herself into and awkward sitting position. She wobbled a little and tried to pull herself together so she looked more in control. Crap, of all times for this to happen... When I'm learning to use powerful skills. Of course. She took a deep breathe and pushed herself to her feet and smiled to try and mask her anger.

"Alright then..." Moon's dark fur rippled as she shifted into a monochrome colour scheme. Her fur was a little wispy, and small plumes of what looked like mist gently drifted out of her fur in every direction.
She placed a paw on Crystal's, taking a deep breath. "Bear with me. I've only done this a few times." The Poochyena chuckled.

She inhaled, then exhaled, pouring a little bit of her energy into Crystal. Just like the other few times she had tried this, she felt something click. Almost like a lock being unlocked with a key.
"Now try. This takes some concentration. Think of being a Ghost type."

Cystal's eyes widened when she felt the power flow into her. She felt it hug around her. She closed her eyes and let the power flow around her until she realized her feet were slowly changing into ghost. She freaked out a little and they changed back. She frowned and closed her eyes again let the power fully take her over. She felt the power of the ghost fill herself and when she opened her eyes her legs and part of her body were transformed and she was floating a tiny bit. She tried to move it a little further and it went to her neck and stopped. She tried to push it along but it wouldn't budge. "It seems like it won't go any further," she said a little sad. She felt almost weightless even though she wasn't completely transformed.

Lunaro gave her a quizzical look, then stepped back. "Well, your body seems to have accepted the type well enough."
"Now the Ghost type is similar to Dark type. You shouldn't have too many issues when it comes to this." She stepped forward letting the mist around her swirl at her pawtips. With a little hop, she began levitating.
"Instead of absorbing the shadows and bending them with your essense, you just will them with your mind to do what you please. As an added bonus, they can inflict nightmares and go through walls, if you concentrate enough."

She dropped to the ground, a small plume of smoke rising like dust.

"Give it a try. All it takes is one small hop, and a little concentration. You should already feel light, since ghosts are naturally weightless."

Crystal gave a little more of a push until the type power consumed her head to. She was partially transparent and light. She gave a little push off the ground until she wasn't touching it anymore. She wasn't sure how to balance and ended up spinning a bit before pulling herself together. She let herself float there a little and pushed herself to move forward. She slowly glided forward but, tripped up and fell down to the ground. When she fell it didn't hurt a bit, she actually a bit went into the ground. She got up and shook herself out of habit for when she fell.

Bracken stiffened as a voice that was definitely not Crystal's spoke, his nervousness twisting into fear. What... was that? he thought, shaking a bit. It had been so cold and foreboding; had the darkness grown so strong that it had gained a voice? Or... was it something else?

Realizing how spooked he was getting, Bracken focused his attention on Crystal's attempt at the Ghost type. Lunaro had managed to dispel the darkness, much to his relief, but yet it still lingered in the far corner of his mind, refusing to be forgotten.

Crystal stood up and saw the scared look on Bracken's face when he looked at her. "Bracken are you okay? You look a little pale," she asked Bracken. Her aqua eyes glimmering with concern. She tilted her head down and said with an upset voice, "It was something I did wasn't it?"

"N-No, it's not your fault at all!" Bracken said quickly. She didn't seem to remember what had happened, so he figured he might as well tell her. "While you were doing your Dark type demonstration, you said something. Er, I mean, it wasn't you, it was something else, and it said to not underestimate the darkness and that evil was lurking in it." He forced himself to keep even with Crystal's gaze and not look away. "Just startled me a little, is all."

Crystal looked at him a little surprised at that. That had never happened before. It had taken control but never that much. She lowered herself to the ground gently and changed herself back. She sat down shaking a little from the transformation and the fact that her powers were able to take her voice. The most I had ever done is make her move somewhere for no longer than a minute. "I'm a little hungry. I'm gonna get some berries. Do you guys want me to bring some back?" She asked just wanting to run across some trees to clear her mind.

Bracken shook his head. Seeing that she was upset, he wanted to volunteer to go with her, but he could tell she probably just wanted some time to herself. "Just... be careful, okay?" he said, genuinely concerned.

Crystal smiled softly at bracken and said "I'll be fine." She dashed to one of the trees and started jumping from tree to tree. She let herself switch between multiple different Pokemon as a habit when she was thinking. Once she was far enough away she climbed to the top of the tree she was on and lay down to look at the clouds.

Lunaro had given the Zorua praise as she fully completed her transformation. Yes, she was doing just fine. She would easily get used to the feeling of levitation, and the Poochyena was confident she would be able to handle it. But something about that darkness seemed...unnatural. She had never seen such a thing before.

Regardless, the wolf felt like Crystal just needed some time alone, and Lunaro felt that this was a perfect time to help Bracken begin.
"Well, how about we begin?" She asked him, her fur rippling into shiny scales. Her fur was quickly replaced by the scales of a reptilian animal, and her claws - normally covered by fur - were fully shown now. Jet black dragon wings protruded from her back, and she flapped them experimentally. Her ears were still there, tipped with fur.

The Poochyena stretched, her scales rippling. "Haven't been in this form in a while!" She commented, examining herself.

Bracken turned back to Lunaro as she changed into her Dragon form. Despite his ongoing concern about Crystal, he felt a surge of excitement. He'd been too preoccupied with his thoughts before, but watching the Zoroa try out her new Ghost type had really made him anxious to try too.

"Okay," he said, taking a deep breath. "I'm ready."

Endo blinked his eyes open from inside his shell. Rays of light were coming through the holes in it. It wasn't the light that had woken him up, he knew that. He assumed it was the commotion going on outside. He could hear voices. The first thing he heard was something about a different form...? Just great. The last thing he needed was some form-changing Pokemon bragging about their new look. It was probably a Shaymin, judging from the voice. Sighing, he poked his head out of his shell, taking in a reptilian Poochyena.

"Oh my..." said Endo, a bit shocked. "Well, this is...new... To say the least." He ducked back inside his shell, and rolled over to the strange wolf Pokemon and its partner. He could still remember how to roll from when he knew Rollout, but he could no longer preform the move, sadly. But that was fine. He knew better moves, now. He examined the Poochyena's scales.

"Exactly how did this happen?" He asked, curious, confused, and shocked at the same time. "In all my years, I've never seen anything quite like it."

The Poochyena nodded, then pressed her paws to his hands, pouring a little bit of her energy into him. Almost instantly, there was a familiar "click," and Lunaro knew that it had worked.
She stepped away, giving him a small smile. "Alright, just do what I told Crystal." She said.

One of her ears twitched as a voice spoke up, and she looked down at the Shuckle at her paws.
Not just that, it was a Shiny! Lunaro had only seen one other Shuckle before, but it was red. It had said something about one of its family members being Shiny as well.
It had said they had a cerulean shell.

This was shocking, to say the least. Shinies were incredibly rare! Only one had existed in the camp Lunaro had grown up in, and her eyes widened in surprise.

"You're...a Shiny." She muttered, almost incredulously. She shook her head, then said, "What, this?"
The Poochyena flapped her dragon-like wings, looking back at them before she turned to the Shuckle.
"Well, have you heard of the Chrystanigh?" She asked. How many times had she said the question now?
Four or five times? Oh geez, it was going to get repetitive, wasn't it?
'Well, maybe one of the others could explain it eventually.' She thought, letting out a silent sigh.

Bracken gasped as he felt a fierce power flow through him. It raged, seeming to tear away at him from the inside out, and he shut his eyes in pain. O-Okay... he thought, trying to quell his rising panic and biting his lip to stop himself from crying out. I-I can do this. Just... focus on it. Draw it out. I can... do this.

He concentrated on the raging power, willing it to come out. It was all too eager. At his first urge, Bracken felt something grow on his arm, but it burned. This time he couldn't keep himself from yelling in pain, and his eyes shot open. A patch of blue-purple scales was on his arm, steadily expanding, the pain spreading in its wake. He struggled to get control of it, trying to slow it down or, preferably, stop it altogether. While it did not do much, it slowed down a little, the burning lessening as well.

It was hard to keep his focus between the power that wanted to get out and his hurting arm, but Bracken knew that if he let go for even a second the burning would come back. He had managed to reduce it to a small but still painful sting, but he couldn't stop its spreading. His breathing was hard and he didn't know how much longer he could hold onto it.

"H-Help..." he managed to whisper, gritting his teeth.

Lunaro made a noise that sounded like a mixture between a groan and a growl.
Stupid! Why didn't she expect something like this?! First Crystal, now Bracken...
Her paw touched Bracken's arm once more, and she took some of the burning energy. Yes, she understood why he was in pain. The Poochyena remembered the terrifying time she had when trying to master this destructive type.

"Look, Dragon type is a very powerful type." She explained. "It's properties are devastating, and a well-trained warrior could obliterate communities within heartbeats with its destructive power. Which is why it's an uncommon type to gain on the first try. Only those that could possibly handle this type of power can correctly harness it."
She gave him a reassuring smile. "I believe you can do this. I wouldn't have unlocked the ability if I didn't think you were ready."

However, her paw stayed. She wasn't too sure if he would be to fully handle the burning that came with learning it for the first time.

Bracken listened to Lunaro as intently as he could and nodded. With her taking some of the painful energy, he was finally able to relax his hold on it a bit. The speed of the scales picked up, spreading from his arm to the rest of his body, and the burning sensation returned but not as sharp as before. He took several deep breaths, grateful for Lunaro's help, before grasping the power again. I can do this. I can do this. he reassured himself, sweat trickling down his face, feeling the slower progression spread down his back and up his neck. He nearly jumped with he felt the pain grow outwards from his back, steadily expanding. Those must be wings, he thought, grimacing a bit as scales covered his face.

Then, just as quickly as it had started, it ended. The burning dissolved into a dull fizzle as the power inside him calmed a bit. Shaking a bit, Bracken collapsed, landing hard on his bottom. He looked down at himself. The blueish-purple scales completely covered him, sharpening at the ends of his fingers and toes like makeshift claws. While he couldn't get a good look at them, he was just able to see the wings protruding from his back.

It was then that he noticed the Shuckle. Having never seen one before, he didn't notice that it was a Shiny. "Uh... hi," he said, in between panting breaths.

Lunaro gave him a smile, stepping back from the Treecko.
"See? I knew you could do it."
She circled around him, making sure nothing seemed out of place, then settled onto her haunches in front of him.
"The most important thing that you need to know about this type is that's it's very destructive. You must know how to control your abilities. I wouldn't be too worried though; most new Dragon types are a little on the weak side, since they're bodies have to adjust. I'd assume that it would be the same for you."
Her tail curled around her as she continued.
"Being a Dragon type has some great advantages too. Mastering such a difficult type is really rewarding. You gain the ability to fly,-" She flapped the dragon-like wings on her back. "-you're able to breath fire, once you've become accustomed,-" She shot out a small plume of fire, watching as it curled upwards, then dissipated. "-and you have very few weaknesses. Ice types, Fairy types, and other Dragon types are the only things that can seriously harm you. Of course, this does not mean that you can become cocky with your abilities. It is possible to fall from a creature that you become too reckless with."

She tilted her head at him. "And the burning sensation you felt? It's just the way Dragon types naturally are. Eventually, you won't feel that pain. Shifting into the type will come as naturally as breathing."

"Okay," Bracken said, still catching his breath. Out of curiosity, he experimented with his wings, pulling them in and out, in and out. The movement was awkward and felt strange, and he had a feeling it'd take a long time to get used to the alien limbs. But as he sat there, the weight of what he had just accomplished finally hit him. He was actually a Dragon type! Yeah, Lunaro had helped, but with some more practice he was sure he'd be able to do it no problem. He laughed, though it came out a bit breathy.

"Wow..." Bracken said finally. "Is there anything I could try?" he asked, eager to try out his new powers but not sure where to begin.
